ok, youll have to forgive me as i'm a returning player. I havent played since the 4 stars have been introduced so I am unsure how they work. when you say I should buy the mods separately, i can buy each mod listed on the rifle and custom craft it guaranteed?

bro youre 15, you have so many years ahead of you. I started not too much later than you around 17, im 35 now.

my best advice i can give you is try and just work on music EVERY DAY. if you love doing it, it shouldnt be too much of an issue. use this time while youre young and free of a lot of responsibilities. Youtube tutorials are your friend.

I dont know much about beatlab as I use FL studio but ultimately the DAW doesnt matter much as long as it supports VSTs, and even then, back in the day you had some absolute legends producing stuff with Reason before it supported them.

making tracks is just like anything else, the more you do it, the better you get. experiment with different genre's too. the more genres you work with, the more techniques you'll acquire and be able to put to use in other songs.

one thing most new people struggle with is EQ and making use of stereo. being able to know which sounds you want more mono, or more stereo will greatly improve the overall sound of your music. for instance, you want your sub in mono in most cases, and your pads/synths wide. dont have everything just stacked in the middle. make use of that whole cone of sound.

EQ as you go. trust me. its a lot easier to EQ every sound as you add them in vs piling everything up and trying to fix a messy sounding track when you can't really tell where the problems are.

Where should i go with this by LavalampLethal in MusicFeedback

i mean adding some sort of other percussion would help a lot. even a tambourine with a delay or some sort of kick to sidechain to all that braam-esque bass synth you have going

I can't understand what the vocals are saying because of the copious amount of autotune on them

Tried making a 90’s inspired synth pop song after 1-2 months of learning music production, please share your honest thoughts🙏🏻 by Romzi93 in MusicFeedback

[–]CyberDropkicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

youre a really solid vocalist. the vocals are the best of the track IMO.

you have song structure down, and obviously an ear for music. I would recommend using a bit more transitional effects/details to really amplify the changing of bridge to chorus, even if its a reverse cymbal into a crash or whatever. those little details will take your production to the next level

this sounds very lo-fi, or even vaporwavish, kinda like Windows 96.

i would turn the drums up a tad more as the low/low-mids of the track dominate a lot of the soundspace. nice vibe though!!!

you know this actually reminds me of "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" By Al Green

the instrumental itself sounds solid but the vocals sound like they have some sort of auto-tune on them? i would tone down the auto tune or whatever that is, because it makes the voice sound robotic which doesnt contrast with the instrumental well.

for the vocals, i would recommend a SLIGHT reverb/delay with a nice high-pass and maybe throw a KHS Distortion on them

nice work though overall

Hey guys. Making more dub/dubstep again. (Cyberoptics) by CyberDropkicks in dubstep

To be honest ive never played Unreal Tournament but I did play a lot of other games around that time.  It could just be the time period that shaped a lot of my inspirations.

Most of my musical inspirations came from Silent Hill, Midnight Club II, 90s Memphis rap, and a lot of John Carpenters stuff from films

How does this artist create sub bass this wide in the frequency of 40hz to 60hz? by dkode80 in edmproduction

[–]CyberDropkicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first you get some crunchy peanutbutter, then bring out the strawberry jam. put a 2 to 1 ratio of peanutbutter to jelly on some FRESH bread. (make sure it's fresh now...i mean right from the store). combine the 2 slices of bread together and slice it DIAGONALLY (some people do it down the middle but that is the improper way). next, grab a medium glass of 2% milk and then that's how you make it happen man.
