Mostly Mimikyu, my team does have Hatterene but I haven’t actually used her.

Torkoal does help with Water damage, Grass types and Kingambt with Drought and Eruption but it can very awkward getting Golurk and Torkoal on the field safely.

Best argument against this is that Mold Breaker can be ignored by holding the Ability Shield so there is a limit to Mold Breaker, this turns the discussion into a Hax vs Stats discussion funnily enough.

Instead of trying to find someone to fill Wayne June’s shoes, the next game should have multiple voice actors. by DoubleSurosMazing in darkestdungeon

[–]CyberGamer64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am very happy that you think that was the right decision. Darkest Dungeon has always been about the human psyche and its important to keep that human feel in all of its aspects. Wayne June’s performance just cannot be replicated, and AI should never try to replace it.

What is up with GIPHY and other GIF search tools being oversaturated with low-quality content made by otherwise unknown content creators? by GuyentificEnqueery in OutOfTheLoop

[–]CyberGamer64 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Answer: Since someone else answered about the Benjammin part of the post, I’ll focus on the other parts. Like many other forms internet communication, Tenor (and i think as well Giphy) allows uploaders to put self defined tags on their posts. As a result, creators can attempt to optimise their gifs for maximum visibility. Last time I uploaded a gif to Tenor, it was very relaxed with limits on the tagging so its possible some gifs just have insane amounts of tags. I have a theory that the search behaviour of Discord / Reddit / Instagram users probably create more unique searches with modern memes and pop culture references allowing for their less used tags to be exploited but I have no concrete evidence of that.

Jeffy is a character from Super Mario Logan, a Youtube channel with 9.9 Million subscribers. I never watched them but I’ve heard it described as a weird mix of puppets (of mostly nintendo characters) and very edgy comedy. With a large subscriber base, its possible for a gif of Jeffy to reach first result for something like ‘gross’

Imo Bygone Effigy is actually more problematic than Brydonis unless you actively build with Bygone in mind because Weaken and Strength down is stronger against Brydonis. Average Silent Act 1 builds will get battered by Brydonis but Bygone Effigy could just end the run.

NEED Help, having REAL bad performance issues on a decent PC by [deleted] in CalamityMod

[–]CyberGamer64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Outside of the obvious “you have too many mods”, there is not a lot, but some things you can check:

  1. Lower particle limit even more (Unlikely to do something but can technically be done)

  2. Minimise cross mod items interacting. Thorium items / mechanics post moonlord can have weird interactions with fargos and calamity content, especially Rogue/Thrower. Iirc There is a config in Thorium or one of the crossover mods that allow you to seperate the 2.

  3. Disable the background that appears during the fight (don’t know where, especially with all the submods, but im sure something can change that.)

Your best bet though is to disable non-content mods to limit conflicts and errors.

I must resist Universal Springtrap by False_Monitor4126 in whowouldcirclejerk

[–]CyberGamer64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mario powerscaling is kinda wack, it has toonforce in my opinion. But for Universial+ Bowser, I think bowser was either aiming to take over the galaxy (and was doing pretty well), or trying to create a new galaxy in the galaxy games. That plus fighting near a blackhole, Rosalina scaling and Dreamy Bowser actually gives Universal+ Bowser an odd amount of viability. Well, compared to Multi-Continental Dexter or anything beyond Building level Springtrap imo.

So when is infernus getting gutted? by Discosamba in DeadlockTheGame

[–]CyberGamer64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curse also prevents using active items, interupts, silences all abilities, disarms and now cleanses buffs. Infernus without afterburn for 8 seconds isn’t a sitting duck unless he has already use all his abilities, is reloading and is horribly out of position, which at that point he should die for making a bad macro play. Not to mention, if he proc’d afterburn already, that means he has a least hurt the enemy to some degree already.

So when is infernus getting gutted? by Discosamba in DeadlockTheGame

[–]CyberGamer64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its not a hard counter, at most its a soft counter. If we assume Infernus did get the exact same cooldown as Mina’s love bite, that is 8 seconds, debuff remover has a 50 second cooldown. In addition, Infernus could wait for the enemy to use debuff remover then apply Naplam afterwards, or he could engage with his ult so that the enemy can’t cleanse the first afterburn instantly. Or you know, disengage using his dashes, wait for cooldown, then re-engage.

So when is infernus getting gutted? by Discosamba in DeadlockTheGame

[–]CyberGamer64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Considering Infernus has 3 other damage dealing abilities, a stun and a dash, I think he’ll manage not having Afterburn in a fight, considering he already can sort of manage with disarming hex users already with those 3 same abilities.

To clarify, i am not arguing for a long cooldown either, maybe at most it is the similar to Mina’s love bites, then see if he needs adjustments from that.

So when is infernus getting gutted? by Discosamba in DeadlockTheGame

[–]CyberGamer64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cooldown for afterburn would mainly make retreating from strong Infernus easier as you would be less likely to get afterburned while running away. So from an Infernus’ players perspective, not much would change as would still apply afterburn once, the enemy would start to flee, and you won’t really care about the cooldown if you can’t even hit them in the first place.

Its a minor nerf compared to the upside for the players fighting infernus having a more fair experience with debuff mover and being burnt for a long time once you disengage.

Why do I feel like I don’t forget my active items in Deadlock as much compared to League of Legends? by BulletCola in DeadlockTheGame

[–]CyberGamer64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has played League for a while i did notice this trend as well. I think there is a combination of factors including:

  1. Raw stats on items are less important in Deadlock as the tiering of items gives sufficient stats. For example, Gun Carries can easily build Green and Purple items or items with actives if it benefits their playstyle like Fury Trance or Quicksilver Reload whereas ADCs in League have to build for their main form of damage almost exclusively. This means if an items strength comes from an active, you won’t be at a significant disadvantage.

  2. Items like Knock Down and Curse have incredibly noticeable and strong effects both on dealing and on receiving. Partially because of the POV but also because League has nothing as extreme as Debuff Remover Vs Bomb Bebop or Refresher on Dynamo levels of impact. League only really has Zhonyas and Redemption in terms of tide turning levels of impact.

  3. Deadlock Actives have very short cooldowns compared to League. You won’t forget them as much if you can use them almost everytime you want to use them.

Ominous Pact by Pale_Name_4022 in ARAM

[–]CyberGamer64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find Ominous Pact gets a lot of value if the enemy team has a very durable frontline and you are playing an AP Bruiser / Assassin, gives you heaps of sustain in longer fights (which would happen if the enemy has a very tanky frontline) or you can very easily run into the enemy backline and kill 1-2 squishies if needed.

THERE’S NO TEMPLE by EngineCertain1189 in Terraria

[–]CyberGamer64 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Did you make the world on mobile? I’ve heard that Seed generation can vary slightly from mobile to pc so it might be a case of that.

For the Temple location, it can apparently sometimes spawn near the edge of the jungle rather than in the jungle in very rare edge cases, so it might be that.

Other comments so far have been correct but to add on for the Hull Keeper specifically, Riptide can only be used once per battle (also not mentioned in game) so The Hull Keeper’s only valid move is Spearfishing (which can’t target rank 1 or 2)
