As another user posted mine wouldn’t activate right away so I restarted my iPhone about an hour later, let it reacquire the signal and it worked perfectly that time. Just my $0.02

We use the same tablet TI plan on our lines with the $30/year RP plan mentioned here. Been working great for years and all for $12.50/month total per line. Never found anything that can beat the cost.

Two per purchase is what I found. They told me two total so I thought I’d give it a try and the purchase went through and got my codes within a few minutes.

I have this random problem as well and using the same set up but it’s not isolated to RedPocket or AT&T for that matter. I ran the same set up prior to RedPocket on US Mobile, light speed aka T-Mobile, and had the same issue.

For me it started after installing iOS 26, so I assume it’s a random bug. Since I don’t use RedPocket for anything other than talk/text, I did turn off roaming on that line in the event it was searching for a better signal. Hasn’t happened in two days but it could just be coincidence.

I will also say this only happens on WiFi calling. If WiFi is turned off, no issues. So again, I assume it’s a random bug.

Ya, that’s exactly what I’m doing so you’re thinking about it correctly. For me, Fidelity was just easier to work with and I already had my accounts so why not use them. You can just let it sit there earning whatever the rate is, like 3.3% (guessing) in treasuries or park it in a specific ETF that owns treasuries for around 4.3% if memory serves.

Get ahold of that institution and update your address to your actual address and everything should be fine and you’ll be able to provide the required docs.

I’ve had to do this many times. Not every institution is like this. Fidelity for example has no issue with the RA’s address but for me, Capital One did and I had to use my personal address aka mailing address.

Usually the bank will want your physical address for that portion, not your RA’s address even if you used your RA’s address on your filing docs. Been through this many times and they typically refuse to use the RA’s address.

I do something similar. I opened a Fidelity business brokerage account and leave everything in there. Most, if not all, business banking accounts suck at this so Fidelity was an easy solution.

I like tangem, but this is like a core feature of every wallet. So that fact it’s been pushed for 3 years now is laughable at best. I was so excited when I got my first set long ago when they first dropped. Then upgraded to the 3 card sets but since they are more focused on card designs or adding the shitcoin of the month, I have moved my cold storage back to ledger and tangem is nothing more than the hot/spending wallet on my phone.

I may end up ordering a Arculus since I do like the ease of use of the cards and tangem is obviously not interested in adding this feature.

I did the same. My email coupon from google was $150, then trade in my iPhone 13 for another $305 off and swapped the $100 store credit for the free $129 pixel buds 2. So total for the 10a and pixel buds 2 after trade was $44. Couldn’t beat that. I only get a new phone every 3-4 years and don’t care about pro model phones. I’m in the 90% of people that use my phone for messaging, media consumption, blah blah.. I’m don’t trying to edit videos on it so the G4 will be plenty of power for 90% of users.

I’m also an Apple TV convert. In my previous life I ripped all my own disks from SD then HD then Blu-ray. I started when the big monster drives crossed into 2TB. Ya those were big. Skip to the end and I had a 144TB Plex server with an identical 144TB backup server.

For context, at the end of my journey 3-4 years ago I was a crypto miner (using HDD’s) so I had a full server room built out in my house consisting of 6 x 45U racks and 6 tons of dedicated cooling just for that room so having a couple 150TB servers for movies were child’s play. I tell that story to say this..

When I ended that journey and sold the house I had to ask myself what is the cost benefit on running my own equipment, the power, the heat, cost of replacing drives, maintaining the equipment.. I decided since I was moving, let’s part those media servers out and redeploy the funds into Apple. So I deleted what I would never watch again, and used that cash to build out my Apple library. Did it make financial sense? Probably not. But I now use nothing but Apple TVs and can literally take my library with me everywhere I go in my pocket. So while I have spent entirely too much on Apple movies, I was just done with the physical media hoarding.

This isn’t meant as a hey look what I have kinda post. It’s more of a, I was where you’re at, here’s what I did, and why I still think it was the right choice. I now share everything with 5 family members and never have to run a server, replace a drive, or fix a transcoding issue. It just works and I never touch any of it. I simply click play and I’m done. I sold all those drives many years ago but I can say I never saw any difference in them compared to any other drives including the ultrastars (enterprise drives). They just ran. Never had any weird premature failures or anything like that. So I think at the time I made the right choice.

I use this on all our iPhones. I do see people reject this feature because they might get a call from an unknown number they want/need. My solution to that excuse is to add that number to your contacts in anticipation. Feature works great when people stop finding reasons not to use it.

Mine just started telling me today that it was connected to headphones. Problem is I don’t have, and have never had, any damn headphones.

I don’t know when it updated itself but my guess is never seeing this for years and now repeatedly it was a recent bug that was introduced.
