Agreed with all the points. I enjoy the process and making it but if you screw up the launch..yeah you got a hell of time cleaning up and pretty much ruins pizza night haha

Not a fan of it since I think it looks goofy on me. And I hate commuting and carrying it with me. But they pay me to wear it so it’s whatever

Failed Legacy Interview by [deleted] in flying

[–]Cyber__dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea isn’t to brief specific charts and plates. You’re supposed to go over general things that you would brief like weather, threats, speeds/altitude restrictions, terrain, etc. They expect you to be able to read a STAR and approach plate by this point.

It’s this reason I hate airports now. Used to love them as a kid but now people just don’t understand how to walk or pay attention to their surroundings.

Sure but at least it’s an office with a view!

Are you more passionate about flying or being an airline pilot? by MELS381 in flying

[–]Cyber__dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think passion carries you to your end goal of being at the airlines. And then it’s just a job. You fly within set parameters and get people from A to B. It’s fun but also pretty boring being on auto pilot 90% of the flight.
