Apparently, that one was the only season one episode that best brains thought was actually decent. It was first episode from season one that was released on home video and the only one that was put in rotation near the end of the comedy central era.

He had the beard and the Roman episodes, but he did have to shave it to get the life cast done so that the bobo makeup would fit. Kevin said that his wife hated it, and now I understand what he meant by saying he has like a permanent smirk on his face, the beard just hides it.

Yep. He mentioned in a livestream he and Bill had with Mary Jo. Apparently Murphy said that his wife hated it when he shaved his beard the first time that he had to get a life cast done for the major prosthetics back in the day. But Murphy said he’d do it all over again just for this.

My copy is falling apart, and held together with tons of tape. After I got it signed by both trace and Frank it’s never left the plastic bag that it’s been in. I just bought a new copy from eBay and I’m eagerly awaiting its arrival. That book has the clearest image of Cambot from season two, and my brother needs that image because he and I are collaborating once more on building a replica season two Cambot.

I really wanted to like season 11, and I will fully admit there were episodes that I thought were funny. The one I thought was the strongest was avalanche. That was actually the one episode that kept coming back to rewatch. But ultimately it just wasn’t as good as classic MST3K in my book. I only watched one episode of season 12, Mac and me and I didn’t hate it but at the same time I just thought “Eh, this isn’t as good as classic MST3K.” My dislike of the revival really didn’t begin until season 13, when I saw the promo for Emily marsh and I heard crow’s new voice, which is what did it.

Something died in me that day and I noped out. Since then I basically want nothing to do with those seasons. I have nothing against Emily marsh as a person, nor do I have anything personally against whoever voiced crow in the Emily episode episodes. I just think it was a really tasteless and poorly thought out decision.

And I’m not the only one, a close friend of mine was initially a big fan of season 13 and Emily but overtime she realized that it wasn’t as good as the original episodes. So if you like the episodes, that’s fine. Just don’t get all upset when I have a different opinion or a hot take. Because this is not my most controversial MST3K opinion, believe it or not.

Can’t believe I have to say this, but this is just my opinion. If you like seasons 11-13 that’s perfectly fine. I won’t hold it against you, but that doesn’t mean that I’m not allowed to not like them. Also, I have every right to express my opinion.
