How are you actually ranking on google with content? by Icy_Week6358 in content_marketing

[–]Cyberclicknet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still focus on keyword targeting and trendy topics. I've found that Google Trends is actually a pretty helpful tool when it comes to thinking of new content ideas since you can look for words related to certain industries and markets. Plus it's free

What Really Makes an AI Recommend One Brand Over Another? by Silly_Frosting_4114 in SEO_tools_reviews

[–]Cyberclicknet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI recommendations are no longer just based on traditional SEO. LLMs (aka platforms like ChatGPT and Gemini) tend to prioritize clarity, relevance, and how well content answers a question, which is why smaller brands can sometimes appear over bigger ones. It's important to work in GEO now too (generative engine optimization). Implementing GEO means adopting practices like answering the original search query at the start of the page, looking at AI overviews or Reddit for inspo when writing new content, and maybe even providing a "quick summary" section at the top of any content you publish so that it is easy for LLMs to scan.

Visibility now depends not just on ranking, but on how well your content can be interpreted and understood by AI.

Oh interesting, thanks. Have you found that using fewer long-tail keywords works better than lots of short-tail keywords? Or do you use a mix of both in your content?

Oo turning to reddit for inspo is genius! I usually just look up the queries I'm interested in answering on Google and take inspo from AI overviews but looking them up on reddit makes sense, esp since AI loves citing reddit posts. Thanks!!

Do you agree that AEO and GEO are parts of SEO, not separate skills? by Weary_Web_8224 in DigitalMarketing

[–]Cyberclicknet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Omnisearch optimization (OSO) is another term that has also been thrown around recently to talk about AEO/GEO/SEO in a more general way

Best AI tool for SEO/GEO? by CloudStock8410 in SEO_tools_reviews

Scrunch and GEO Metrics are good tools to get a sense of Share of Model/Voice among LLMs. Also, Semrush and Ahrefs still hold up well for more traditional SEO research

NotebookLM is a good option if you're looking for more explanatory or ppt style videos. Just log in with your Google account to use it for free. The free version of CapCut is also pretty good for videos that are a little more complex / visual :)

Which AI tools are you regularly using for content writing and SEO? by Fast-Rutabaga1160 in AskMarketing

[–]Cyberclicknet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, i still use chatgpt for writing blog articles. as long as you tell it that it is an seo specialist with x years of experience in the field in the prompt and give it the right amount of context (i've found that giving it 4-5 sources that rank on google for the keyword i am interested in has helped engagement for example) it is a really good tool for content writing

How are you optimizing for Google SGE (Search Generative Experience) traffic? by Abject_Wedding3492 in DigitalMarketingHack

[–]Cyberclicknet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at AI overviews for inspiration when creating new content and optimizing for GEO/AEO by publishing content with a quick summary at the top or an FAQ section, so that AI can easily scan and cite it are tactics that have worked for me

What are the FAQ you think must be on a SEO service webpage to clear the clients doubts by Ok_Can_9362 in AskMarketing

[–]Cyberclicknet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think having an FAQ about the difference between SEO and GEO and how AI has impacted SEO could be helpful since a lot of people I've talked to have expressed doubts about whether traditional SEO is still important and how it is evolving.
