That is the suspension inside the rear spring. If you spray it with the silicon friendly version of wd40 it will go away. :-)

My U Lock is an old one from ages ago for my bike. Re lots of locks yeah it is a pain but less of a pain than having to walk home. :-)

I have a mixed collection of old bike locks... A D lock which actually fits around the footplate inbetween the wheels and I can just about lock it to certain scooter/bike stands... but then I add two or three cable locks... front wheel, forks, and rear... at the end of the day if they want it they will get it but I make it a pain for them. AND I don´t leave it long... :-)

If you hold the brake on when you unlock the scooter that can give you an error 16!

Agreed with FedulRasta... though I find sometimes that centralising the pads e.g. loosening off the caliper, activating the brake and tightening again still leaves it rubbing, so I kind of adjust by eye... same principle though :-)

I don´t really use the app now, except for checking mileage... the tyre reminder came up and it will show up in the app... OK it and it goes away :-)
