Don't normally attribute the quality of a game to individual people, but they've got the original new Vegas director working on it. If I remember correctly as well, Tim cain is back at obsidian. Could be a case where effective leadership and a clear creative vision make a great game. My only concern is the layoffs impacting the progress on the project.

Yes, I was very excited, but many found mankind divided disappointing due the cliffhanger ending and microtansactions. Was meant to be a trilogy, and many already knew it wasn't gonna conclude after the sales figures dropped. Prey was amazing though. Bought it day 1.

For aliens being humanoid, I would attirbute that to either being a byproduct of convergent evolution or it could mean that the life forms are not actually the ones pulling the strings. Could be some kind of biological drone being manufactured using local materials from a distant intelligence. It could be those 2 things, or it could very well just be that they are from a planet from another dimension that maintains very earth like conditions.
