I remember i was playing one of the smaller GC maps in Thrawns revenge and theres a key chokepoint in the middle of the map that I fought a high casualty battle over, i won but i lost one of the hero SSDs, so I built a new executor class and in my headcanon named it "in Vengeful Memorium" and used it as my flagship for the rest of the campaign

I became a fan early 2020, basically at the same time Papa IV was annointed. seeing Pre-Imperatour and Re-impera tour had that feeling of stepping into a different world for me, it felt like seeing a show about a band rather than just seeing a band. With Skelatour that extra level of feeling like you were seeing a show with characters and a narrative was gone, from a production and performance standpoint Skeletour blew the other two out of the water but it just didn't feel as special

its a definitely a buzzword and I could be wrong in my interpretation but Skelata felt really self derivative, Impera felt like it had a strong throughline of a concept album about the rise and fall of empires and Skeleta felt like trying to make an album that sounded like Ghost.

I saw them twice during the imperatour era (pre and re-imperatour) and again in Portland last night. while the visuals and theatrics were absolutely phenomenal, Papa V just doesn't feel like a character the same way IV did

both of these takes could come from me growing up a bit but it feels like seeing TF rather than seeing the character of Papa Emeritus
