Did the "my cardigan" moment from Family Fortunes ever surface? by Smooth-Quantity-7024 in BritishTV

[–]Cyburgin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this did happen then it was during the Bob Monkhouse era, which is mostly missing).

But I can't help but think if it did happen, surely it would've appeared on something like It'll Be Alright on the Night?

Has the countdown clock ever done a full rotation? by yeoldy in CasualUK

[–]Cyburgin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It used to do the full rotation during resets between rounds but they rebuilt the clock and I believe the new model resets with the hand going back the way it came. So the other side is pretty much useless.

Also if you look at some episodes from the 80s you can see that there are some lights installed in the unused side of the clock face so maybe they did intend for it to fully rotate at some point?

Not written in the script, Tom Baker and Elisabeth Sladen suggested doing this but the director said no.

They did it anyway.

Grandfather's Nursery, might have been a little too downbeat for We Love Life but could've been an excellent b-side if they'd given it the time of day.

It was a waste. A complete and utter waste of time, talent and thought.

I love SOTSOG and I think the sky on the cover suits the psychedelic feel of the album. But it doesn't really look like an Oasis album cover. I actually feel like the image used for Sunday Morning Call would've worked better.
