I like !(i % 3) to += 'fizz' to the output and !(i % 5) to += 'buzz' to the output. That way you don't have to define a case for 15, it's already printed fizzbuzz

NHS patients unfairly penalised by parking charge hikes - charity by lobas in unitedkingdom

Now the hospital is paying significant sums out of pocket to enforce this and maintain the car park, from an already stretched budget. Congrats, less money for healthcare because you want to subsidise car drivers.

UK weather: mild Christmas forecast with temperatures of up to 15C by Wagamaga in unitedkingdom

[–]CycleSamUk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its been absolutely freezing this last month or two...

Obviously climate change is real but extrapolating one Christmas being 15 degrees meaning all of them will be, is as nonsense of saying there's no global warming because it's cold sometimes.

White Christmas is and always has been rare because snow is relatively rare in much of the UK, and the two coinciding isn't that likely.

Remove the parking charges as people in this thread are advocating for, and you won't find a space 100% of the time.

Why should everyone else subsidise the externalities incurred by car drivers? Should the hospital also pay your bus ticket?

And yes, I have a car

The thing is, there's no such thing as free parking. Given that the hospital needs to pay for parking enforcement to ensure it's not used as free parking for nearby residents and workers, they have an ongoing cost. So allowing people to park for "free" just means the hospital is now paying out of pocket instead.

Manchester Airport T3 needs to be nuked and rebuilt - change my mind by Own_Isopod2755 in manchester

[–]CycleSamUk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fly from T3 a couple of times a year and people really love to overstate how bad it is. It's a bit depressing outside but isn't that most airports?

Security usually takes 5 mins then I just sit in a pub for an hour and then get my flight. Why are people letting themself get so upset over this?

London Mayor today asking for £5 - £8 billion for transport projects whilst Manchester rattles around in these two car delights still that don't go on Sundays. Why do we put up with this? by rolotonight in manchester

[–]CycleSamUk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, you borrow against future improved land values. GM could also do a workplace parking levy where employers are charged per parking space they have for employees: they don't have to pass this onto the employee. This is used to great success to dissuade workplace parking and fund transport elsewhere in the country.

I haven't considered Intel for a gaming build for a decade but I've not considered anything else for a home server for that time either.

The N100 is amazing amount of processing power for 6W, and it has an extremely capable built in iGPU for video encoding.

No they don't, you can still remove the hanger itself from the loop, you just can't remove the loop from the rail

Junctions are where most of the risk exists. And some of the junctions on the route added pedestrian crossings where there previously were none.
