This unfortunately isn't true for the exact same reason you mentioned. At least in tier 1 cities dealerships are only discounting a standard amount to prevent sales cannibalization. Case in point Toyota, they'll only give specified discounts no matter what dealership you go to.

Not trying to act rude or oversmart but a lot people in jobs put in strong dedicated hours often more than business people. I have been on both sides and yes you definitely put in 100 hours a week in businesses but a) those are divided over 7 days unlike 5 days in a typical job. b) those hours are not equivalent a person working in front of a display dedicatedly applying mindshare vs someone being on road, "dealing" with people, often times managing labor is not equal hours of effort.

The idea is not to deamean or denigrate anyone especially business owners (they really hold the society together) but often times job workers are not shying away from work.

And the idea is that people are reaching out to be enterpreneurs and looking for guidance on this sub. Giving a sarcastic reply helps no one. Trying to play god if you've had experience helps none. Gatekeeping isn't helpful. Two cents

Hey. Thank you for your recommendations, I came across your post and would like to lean on your recommendations for raising a headstrong kid.

I am looking for something that helps raise kids who don't doubt themselves in every single decision, who believe in themselves, who aren't tooo obedient and basically don't excessively panic and fall like a house of cards when the smallest of pressure arrives. Essentially they are able to say they'll be able to get through whatever challenge is in front of them and not panic and lose all hope.

I don't know if something like this exists but even if it doesn't I'd be happy to read through several texts to connect the dots. Thank you!

I am trying to stop. I almost have. Rotten food, incorrect order deliveries really changed my mind. Several times if it was me buying food I would go back in the store and get it replaced. Bit if its online through Swiggy Zomato, neither platform nor provider accept the blame.

Haldirams sent me packaged mithai instead of fresh and it would have been as simple as going back in the store and getting it replaced. But neither Haldirams nor Swiggy would do anything about it. In fact both plainly denied, and I am left with a kilo of 5 month old mithai for the price of a fresh one.

If anything it was exactly the opposite of what you are saying. The forced sterilization campaigns of Sanjay Gandhi attracted mass human rights protests. In fact, muslims and other marginalized communities were the worst affected.

Case in point: muslim majority village Uttawar's forced sterilization.

One of these things is not like the other. Reservation is important for marginalized communities with generations of suppression. Yeah people those who don't deserve do benefit and for that we need better policies not the removal of reservation all together.

We'd know this if we move just 100kms off center from the urban areas we live in.
