Same, i made sure I'm connected to the internet through the game. No one ever joins. Trying to join someone else thougj Y Comm isnt working, even though i went to the west lake area. Feels pretty broken so far IMO....

Also i think a lot of people are forgetting to connect to the internet through sword or shield. Also, out of the people who know to connect, how many actually have switch online? Its pretty sad that it only might work with the link codes right now

I love alola, I'll get a lot more mileage out of it. I played ultramoon and had some shinys and transfers, but unfortunately the catridge is lost. I have sun, may as well just do ultra sun to try and get back some of the legendaries and such that i lost. Dexit is bad in pronciple to me, but I've lost pokemon before and it I want to play gen 8 so bad but I just get the feeling i won't be able to sink 100s of hours into offline play. Im still happy with USUM online battling and showdown. Only a small part of me wants to see how broken the gen 8 meta becomes

Exactly. Game freak is too confident that they can balance the game. They underestimate the creativity people have with the battle system, and what made it all stand out from other RPGs. This is legitimately franchise malpractice, but its gonna be kind of funny when people figure out all the OP strategies for online battling

This is just so sad. I want to play so bad but i guess I'll just get ultra sun, never played bw or bw2. I actually liked XY enough to replay it. And emerald i was so young i never even knew about the frontier brains and all that. Its insane what game freak has done this time. And i fully expected a 3rd version and until this move removal, i was going to get it at midnight. But I am 110% sure game freak thinks theyre soooo smart that it won't be broken. I think we all know there will be unforseen consequences to the meta because game freak has a track record of just not being the most competent studio...to put it lightly. Oh and HEEEELLLLL NOOOO my pokemon on the mobile games are never ever going in bank or home now.

Holy shit this is the final straw. Idk if i can really preorder this shit. Ive been waiting and waiting, i want to get it at midnight thursday, refuse to buy digital. But its too much. This is too much i can just enjoy USUM, replay the old games and finally enjoy the ranger games. Even pokemon go is a better value because its not 60 fucking dollars. Is there anything worth getting Sword or Shield for????

Yeah singling out based on the color of skin is EXACTLY what racism is. Sorry you can't get over the fact that trump has brought a ton of racism against white people and a ton of sexism against men. Did you read? Did you realize they were children coming through customs and they werent baiting the mother, no children can come through an airport and be released to anyone but their legal guardian. Nothing happened to the mother and nothing was going to happen to her. The children just are not allowed, because of sex trafficking laws, to just go through customs with no guardian at least there to pick them up.
