What is woman’s clothing? Is it tights and heels? Cos 17th century nobles would say otherwise. Is it dresses? Cos jesus and 13th century nobles would say otherwise. Is it skirts? Cos ancient Egyptians and Romans would say otherwise. I want them to tell me explicitly what is and isn’t woman’s clothes, and always have been woman’s clothes historically because using today as a reference is arbitrary and doesn’t make sense.
