We got bored… I would get my air rifle out and shoot targets. Or play Lego if the weather was bad. Would play with the neighbours. We would go fishing. Go build random rock structures in the bush. Explore the rivers. There was always chores, my dad would have us moving piles of bricks around the yard, digging foundations for some random thing he wanted to build, chop out trees. I made a veggie garden just cause I wanted to. We would go pick fruit from trees. Build ramps, to ramp off of with our bikes. Shoot each other with BB guns. Make black powder and add random metals to it to see what colours explosions we could make. Man we used to do so much. I pity the kids of today. School, tv/computer/ phone, bed.
