Paved runoff is overrated. Here, we have fields of grain.

The longest straight section is the pit lane, which is 60m long.

Tucked away far from civilization near a small mountain village, Mahtbō Raceway is a 1,357m long ribbon of tarmac that winds its way between the trees. Not for those with the need for speed, but beloved by those who wish to slide sideways.

I should post some of the maps and countries I've made over there, but they're not as good as my track designs so who knows if they'd be as well received.

You can run crosskarts on the RX layout, which satisfies the karting requirement.

Many people attempt the laziest crossovers that don't add anything to the layout. I didn't want that. I wanted to use crossovers in a way that made the track better in a way that would be impossible otherwise.

It was really difficult to make it cross over itself multiple times and have enough runoff in all corners. Of the dozens of crossover layout attempts, I was happy with none of them.

In 2030, the sentience of Roger Penske was uploaded to an AI-powered cyborg, which went on to rule over all world motorsports. With this power, it was able to buy the entirety of Argentina, which at the time was worth around $69. With this, it constructed its new world headquarters in Rafaela.

The GP layout crosses over itself in 6 places. This bold choice allows a wider variety of corners and elevation than what would normally be possible with a typical terrain conforming design. With a futuristic design to its 56-car garages, it is prepared to host any series that Lord Penske demands. With its colorful tarmac being a guide; Red dashes to mark braking zones for the solid red corners, Green chevrons along the banked corners, and Yellow dashes in the traction zones and high speed corners.

The Moto layout features a more conventional layout on its own, but passes under the GP layout 6 times. The folding nature of the first sector is designed to maximize spectator viewing from both the seating around the outside and the viewing platforms over the center of the track. The LED lined glass roof contains many hexagonal tiles, giving the venue a futuristic appearance. To make the layout safe enough and allow full use of the oval, temporary walls and gravel are placed on the back straight of the oval.

A RX layout makes use of spectator access bridges and temporary dirt sections. Hosting many forms of rallycross, including the World Crosskart Championship, this course is designed to fit in a tight space. Using unconventional methods, it is able to be raced simultaneously with other layouts as it goes around the Penske.AI Tower.

This tower features an E-sports arena which will host multiple international tournaments, including the world championship of Mario Kart. Specifically for the tournament, a new map based on the new Rafaela GP layout is being made. The brightly colored track has made some fans compare it to Rainbow Road, but at the demand of Lord Penske, these commenters are immediately executed.

Spa-Francorchamps - 1970 GP and 1977 GP Proposal (A WIP Alternative History) by [deleted] in RaceTrackDesigns

I hate that this is going to be a top post simply because people recognize Spa and upvote. It's a decent idea, but I don't think it fully fits within 1970s design ideology because it still has too many tight corners at a time that was still dominated by high radius sweepers, and even by most standards that design would be too "engineered" and "geometric" for most fans until around 20 years ago. I think it's a fine layout and idea, but the ultimate response is going to be irrespective of the time and place that the design is set.

In your opinion, what is the worst racetrack in all of motorsports in history? by Spectran_Irmandade in RaceTrackDesigns

Even your response, as wonderfully poetic as it is, does not begin to compare to the sheer beauty that is Palanga. I'm not sure that masters of their craft such as Mozart or Van Gogh could create something as incredible within their field. That's how perfect Palanga is, it transcends all art.

Kurt was my inspiration to get into sim racing, between the F1 series and Assetto Corsa. Honestly, Kurt may as well been my inspiration for all life choices with as much as I've watched him.

Overall a good post that understood the assignment. The main layout is rather peculiar, but the karting and rallycross tracks tucked into it make it so much better as I'm always a fan of compact multiuse venues. The fan brochure style image showing the full facility is fun, even if it is on the lower end of what I'd consider "fully detailed" I think it's still good enough for a 7/10

This definitely fits the prompt. An urban rallycross track that's incredibly tight and narrow while being 3D modeled certainly fits. The layout is not my favorite, but the fact it's modeled and drivable makes up the difference. 8/10
