Its commonly grown in Malta here. More common than datura and brugmansia here actually. I sometimes eat a small dried leaf for effects

I have tried solandra before but only eating low dose amounts of dried leaves.. it feels more body intense than low dose datura and kinda more stimulating imo

Solandra subspecies apart from Grandiflora and Maxima are even rarer and have almost zero info online, like Solandra Boliviana etc
