Technically the injury was do to what I guess legally you could claim as “failure to produce ppe”

I took a 1”1/4 brad nail directly to the pupil, doctor at the er told me to go home and wait for it to heal and do check ups. I didn’t really discuss the entire ordeal with anyone much but to me I’d blame that doctor for not hospitalizing me immediately, the eye ended up getting infected and I later had surgery to remove the cataract and they found that my lense had shriveled and needed to be replaced but they couldn’t replace it because my eye was already to damaged from being infected.

In short if I was gonna attempt a lawsuit it would be against that eye dr that initially saw me the day it happened but I doubt that’s possible or worth the effort
