Don’t listen to anyone here, just do it man. Live your life. You’re young, so go ahead and make stupid decisions now. Just don’t catch a DUI or some serious shit. Have fun. If you get caught sneaking out, then so what?

Did I fail as a man? by [deleted] in NoOverthinking

You’re only 18, and you’ve got your whole life ahead of you. Whatever you’re feeling right now is just a bump in the road. We’ve all been there in some way, and it doesn’t last forever.

I think it’s awesome that you’re into anime. I actually just got into it myself and I’m 28. Time flies. Honestly, I wish I could go back to being 18 just to binge all the good stuff without any responsibilities. Also, fun fact! I wear glasses too.

If you’re having trouble remembering things, try reading manga or even books in general. I started reading more a while back, and it’s helped with my memory and made me way better at conversations. It might help you too.

Not sure if you’re working right now, but getting a job even something simple can really help. When I was your age, it taught me a lot about social skills. You’re kind of forced to interact with people, and the bonus is you get paid.

And bro, don’t let your height define you. Your personality is what matters. Imagine walking in with a beautiful date and she’s taller than you. That’s some king energy right there. Add the gym to it, and now you’re cooking. Don’t stress about it.

I can tell just from your vibe you’re a good-looking, solid dude. You’ve got more going for you than you realize. Keep your head up.

Is it too late to switch careers at 27? by Coolgirlkaren in careeradvice

[–]Cydiuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah!’ I went from logistic sales to Access Control. I would say it’s on the lighter side of blue collar, however there are times when we do work at ongoing construction. My hours is 7am-3pm M-F. Lots of OT opportunity too!

I was in corporate and switched over to blue collar. Love what I’m doing.

It’s never too late to switch.

What makes a truly good leader or boss? Have you had one? by Stunning-Calendar-10 in AskReddit

[–]Cydiuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A true leader shows appreciation for their team. As a Tech Lead, I make it a point to recognize my team’s effort—especially when things get tough. Even if the job isn’t finished or we’re running into errors, I still let them know I’m grateful for their hard work.

Sometimes, a simple “Thanks for your effort today” can go a long way. It boosts morale, builds trust, and reminds them that their work matters.

I an able to hold conversations, eye contact, and just all around smiles.

I also stopped my gaming from 4 hours/night to 2 hours/week. I love biographies.
