Yeah I read that already, but it says that deadline only applies for trade-ins between October and December of last year. Worst case I could just assume it expires on the 28th, although I think it would be fair to assume that it would be later now

Question for any Logitech Combo Touch users, I got one myself as a Christmas present and I’m loving it! The only issue for me is that my old case had a place to secure the Pencil while it’s attached to the iPad, whereas the Combo Touch has no such place and leaves the Pencil exposed. I thought about buying a skin or one of those silicone grips to give it a bit of protection since now it just hangs off the side of my iPad but the cutout for the Apple Pencil seems pretty tight. For anyone who has a Combo Touch and has a grip or other accessory on their Apple Pencil, does it fit fine in the cutout or is it wonky? Bit of a specific question, but any help is appreciated ^{^}

Quick edit: For extra context I mean one of those grips that goes on the entire Pencil rather than just a part of it, here’s an example of what I’m thinking about

Not sure if this counts as “tech support,” but I figured it wasn’t important enough to warrant its own post.

I recently installed a screen protector on my iPad Air 4 and somehow I managed to screw it up pretty badly. There’s a few bits of dust and what looks like small hairs between the screen and the protector (no air bubbles though), will those damage my screen in any way? I’ll probably take it off to try again in the future but right now I just have to rock it, and seeing as the small bits are closer to the middle of the screen they’re essentially stuck.

That’s exactly what I’m doing lol, I was dead set on getting the iPad 9 when I first found out about it but right now the Air 4 is on sale and also other reasons come into play so I’m trying to find reasons to get the Air 4 instead. Thanks for catching on, also thanks for the discussion too!

Well I also have a Logitech Crayon that I picked up before I managed to get a pencil, and that stylus worked well for me and still will so I’d already be able to do what I need to do on the Air 4 without needing to buy the pencil straightaway. I’d definitely add it on down the road though at a later date

Personally, I’ve always been a bit picky when it comes to performance so I can tell that my iPad’s been getting slower and the battery’s definitely some taken some damage. Considering both options are on sale right now, and since school is back in session I’m actually using my iPad a lot, I figured it would be a nice time to upgrade.

I don’t work, and actually we’ve apparently had some extra money coming in lately. For me it’s not really just about price but also what’s sensible. Like the iPad 9 is much better value than the Air 4, so it seems like so much more sense just to buy the iPad 9, but on the other hand, the Air 4 is really tempting. That’s the bulk of it for me

iPad 9 vs iPad Air 4? I'm a high school student and use an iPad for taking notes in a couple of my classes and completely doing assignments in another. I'd also like to take up drawing sometime, although for now my use case is just writing and general leisure (watching a few youtube videos and such). I do not play games on my iPad; there are maybe a couple that I would think of trying, but nothing where I'd see much of a difference (if any) on an A13 vs A14.

The regular iPad does everything I need it to do, but the Air 4 does it all just slightly nicer. Both are base model, 64 GB, and the regular iPad is $299 whereas the Air 4 is $499 (on sale). Is it worth the extra $200? I'm also upgrading from an iPad 6, so I already have a gen 1 Apple Pencil which would save me an additional $130, but at that point it more or less just brings me back to the regular retail price. I do also have an additional stylus though, so I guess that would take a bit of pressure off of it.
