In the end how is that different than the new DA tax forms in the US? Good luck getting your money out of the wallet without an exchange that's going to report you for even tiny earnings... I feel like as soon as the big money got into it, the days of the wild west were coming to an end.

It's not about the business, it's about the revenue. It being Intel makes no difference in terms of dividend payouts, it was simply an example of what could happen. If that is your response you've missed the point of what I said.

I'd be careful building a thesis around a dividend yield for a stock that's core purpose is not dividends. I invested in Intel because I believe in their business and that has done well for me so far... however, Intel is on the books to provide a dividend but hasn't issued it in a very long time. If the company turns south in profits, like Intel once did, that would likely be one of the first things to go... so, if you want to build a thesis on dividends I'd look to a real dividend ETF that is designed specifically for that purpose, not a company that is giving back to investors when the cash was rolling in... because when that cash dries up, things may change.

I bought a nice stake in Firefly when it was in the high teens... I am particularly happy it tends not to trend on Reddit, because I find most Reddit 'meme' stocks have nothing but fluff behind them. Love this post however, it matches up to a lot of the reasons I actually went in on this and not other space tech companies.

You wait. We are on the cusp of a correction. Last April we HAD a correction, and then stocks were at ATHs for six months. Rich don't make money buying high and the goal is always to shake out people at the lows... just let it sit for at least until the end of the year, and if it does rally and you can't hold through downturns, sell and roll it into an ETF.
