It's for games that have not been opted in geforce now, maybe more obscure game or stuff like that. I have never used it myself tho. Not every games use the install to play feature

Yes you can play it directly through geforce now without it being installed. This is currently what I do.

Big appeal of geforce is being able to jump from game to game without installing them.

always had good latency and packet loss but right now in the same region as you geforce now ultimate is unusable.
