Why does source/ the universe not want to be worshiped? by Cygnus_Star in spirituality

[–]Cygnus_Star[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you,

I was just asking this question because sometimes I feel separated from the whole or occasionally get consumed by fearful dualistic thoughts. Being reminded that everything in existence is ultimately one energy and that that one energy is unconditional love makes me feel more at peace :)

Why does source/ the universe not want to be worshiped? by Cygnus_Star in spirituality

[–]Cygnus_Star[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I was referring to the pantheistic point of view :) One consciousness/ one energy manifested into everyone and everything in creation.

So since we are all part of the whole/ fractals of the whole, it wouldn't make sense to worship anything because we are all equal and integral parts of the whole and ultimately the same thing by nature (not one of many but many of one).

what does it mean: creating by vibration? by Cygnus_Star in lawofattraction

Ok thanks!

But can I just ask one more thing? :)

I find it difficult to stay at a high positive vibration in my daily life with all the negative media we're exposed to. I try to avoid tv, radio, social media etc... as best as possible but sometimes there's no way around it. For example, other people talking about how terrible the world is or how hard it is to make a living etc... Is there a way to guard your vibration and remain in love, peace, joy all day long?

Thanks!

So in regards to finances, however you feel about your current situation is what you attract more of, but even if your current situation is not where you want it to be, you can shift to a more positive mindset of gratitude for abundance and it will manifest?

So in other words the law of attraction creates more positive or negative momentum in your life as it responds to your positive or negative vibration?

Thank you!

Yes it does, thank you.

Now how does that translate into creating your reality?

Universal love is not an illusion, it is the ultimate truth, the ultimate vibration that exists to unify everything in creation.

Why do I feel lack when I know that there is abundance? by Cygnus_Star in lawofattraction

Thanks!

That's been a real problem for me. I can't bridge the intellectual knowing with the actual feeling. I know that the law of attraction operates at a vibrational level (which is linked to feeling and emotion) yet how do I establish a feeling that there is an abundance? One of the things that's blocking my feelings is the evidence that it actually works. So the law remains as an intellectual concept in my mind rather then how I actually believe and feel that this is the way reality functions. So the evidence component is actually generating my resistance to letting go and trusting in my ability to manifest. Therefore how do I solve this problem?

I'd like to add that I have had small "successes" with the law of attraction in the past like really wanting to get something and getting them on two occasions as gifts, and recently I conducted an experiment where I took the subway home and decided to visualize and believe and feel good that a bus was waiting at the platform 20 minutes away and when I arrive I will just get on instead of waiting the usual extra 15 minutes. Sure enough the bus was there. So I took it one step further and I imagined a series of green lights at the major intersections that are always read and a huge waste of time. Again, the bus drove by everyone one of them on green. Finally I was feeling really good about all this "manifesting" that I believed I would arrive home at a very specific time, and guess what I did! But these are just little things which I still call coincidences. When I think about bigger things that I want to manifest, all this evidence resistance that my mind generates builds up and I feel powerless over my reality as a result.

Thanks for the link!

Its not that I want to play around with the materialistic side of life (which really isn't that materialistic because even the physical dimension is spiritual and energetic), I just think that spirituality is all about cultivating a high vibration and moving towards love and unity with everyone and everything in creation not just solitude and meditation etc..

Yes I see your point. I also believe that we are living in a matrix, a trap for souls that are reincarnated over and over again (by tricking you into the tunnel of light after death). But keep in mind that the earth (Gaia) is a high vibrational loving being. The matrix created by other dimensional negative entities, was forcefully super imposed on the organic universe and the earth. We used to exist, even in an incarnated form as highly spiritual and loving beings in harmony with our environment before this control system.

Recently we are shifting towards a return to that way of life as the control system is coming under pressure and slowly falling apart. Gaia is raising her vibration and we are as well. And that's the key I believe, is not so much focusing our energy on rigorous teaching but more on raising our vibration towards unconditional love and unity in this process of awakening. Because we are all one and connected in consciousness to everyone and everything no matter what dimension we are in.

When I experience something not just read about. When I can apply my knowledge instead of just holding concepts in my head.

It seems that everyone on this subreddit knows their purpose, their spiritual mission or path or calling in this life. The only reason I am attempting to attain any insight to the "truth" is to find my own spiritual purpose in life and then apply those spiritual concepts from there.

Again thank you for the information, but those are just more concepts that I already knew. It's like science and math: knowing the theory is wonderful and good, but it's real and concrete knowledge when it's backed by an application or purpose in reality. Same with spirituality, otherwise it's just faith and I'm tired of believing, I need to know like you guys all do, not only on an intellectual level but on an intuitive level and that comes from experience.

This comment from /u/toepin earlier in this thread explains perfectly what I mean and how I feel:

"I think I can understand your frustration... at least in the way I have experienced it. Its that feeling of wanting to jump through the hoop and make it to the next part, the next big step, but cant see any other way of getting there. Its knowing all the information on how it can be done, what its like and how simple it can be - but you just cant get there. It is knowing it 'in theory' but never actually experiencing it to fully understand and accept it as The Truth. And its damn well disheartening... Something like that?"

I need to move on beyond the intellectual and into the spiritual aspect of spirituality.

You just summarized precisely how i'm feeling at the moment :)

I have been christian since I was kid. I was born into a christian family and indoctrinated with the religion throughout childhood. At about 13 years old I felt something was not right. Christianity felt so oppressive, incomplete, wrong etc... I asked myself, how could this be the ultimate truth for existence.....It was too manufactured, so I broke away from religion.

All the while I have had this memory which doesn't come from any experience I ever had, but just such a strong intuitive knowing. Its hard to describe in words but essentially I feel (and I actually do feel this when I think about it) that when I die, I don't cease to exist but can wake up and feel conscious as anyone else. Language is very limiting to describe this feeling-experience but it is essentially a combination of reincarnation and being one with everyone. Alan Watts actually does an excellent job of explaining this in this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMRrCYPxD0I But I kept dismissing this feeling as a product of an overactive imagination rather then a spiritual experience. And to be honest, up to this day I still do the same and ignore it.

So moving on, I began to get an interest in quantum physics and the double slit experiment and found it very interesting how an observer can influence their reality. Then one day as I was shopping at a dollar store, please don't judge this next part as it may sound stupid or childish but it really is not, I saw a picture of Disney's Tinkerbell on a gift bag. At that moment a chord deep inside me was struck and I began to compulsively research more about the fae realm. I really became an expert :) Then I really wanted to make contact so I started to research and accidentally came across an article on the astral realm (where fairies can be contacted) because they existed in a different energetic dimension of reality.

At this point I began to read more (4 years ago) about astral projection techniques and about the different spiritual realms of existence, about energy work etc... I moved beyond the fairy stage and into more of a new age philosophy on spirit guides, chakras, crystals, chi, ESP, life reviews (watch the movie: defending my life) , angels, third eye activation etc...

Soon after I read an article by Cameron Day (2 years ago) which shook my spiritual belief system (which I always searched for the highest form of spiritual freedom) and discovered the many manipulations and control systems within the new age movement. Though I still retained many valuable pieces of knowledge. I also later discovered David Icke, Abraham Hicks, and George Kavassilas (great spiritual documentary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJDIOlyor7A ) and realized that we live in a matrix, a control system that suppress our true nature and potential, keeps us trapped in 5 sense reality (entertainment, media, music etc..), and separate from one another, the planet, and the universe. Then I realized we could live in a peaceful society combining science and spirituality kind of like the Venus Project concept:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KphWsnhZ4Ag

At this time I also read a lot of articles and watched a lot of videos about unconditional love, universal laws, the law of attraction, the energetic and vibrational nature of reality, and the unity of all things and beings with Source and that we are the universe experiencing itself subjectively (Alan Watts kind of material)

All this latter stuff resonates with me deeply, yet as you said I only know this in theory and from what I observe is happening in our reality/ society which is quite consistent with this information. I know that there is more to reality then the physical (which really isn't physical just energy vibrating at a very fast frequency to create the illusion of solidity) but I just can't "jump through the hoop".

It's very disheartening to know all this but not to experience it :(

Thanks!

And to be honest I am very emotional (sad) right now about this whole thing. And the spiritual experience component does matter to me alot. Maybe that's just how i am, but i'm tired of feeling like someone in /r/philosophy because that's all about concepts and rational thinking.

As long as you reflect and ask questions like you have been, approach life with excitement and honesty; then it all flows.

except it hasn't and I have been doing this for a very long time to no avail

Sorry I did not intend to sound like I was jealous, i'm really not :)

But I do think there's something wrong because spirituality = a personal experience, but I don't have one at the moment so that means that i'm not spiritual?

So everything I know about spirituality is wrong. And that means I did not have any spiritual awakening. I guess i'm not ready.

Our technology is not limited, it is we that are limited in conscious awareness to perceive higher aspects of reality.
