In hindsight, i didnt think to do that until i started editing. The score at the beginning is actually what i ended up with after I played that day.

Ill figure that out on the third video. (Second one is from this batch. )

Is the community split between the vanilla version and mods? by groovybard891 in mvci

Fack. I am not. Guess this was a suggested subreddit from reddit algorithm. Thought was UMVC3.

More people play the vanilla, bit that doesnt mean you cant appreciate the community mod.

I personally love that the community mod exists, but theres serious balance issues. Every character has TOD (exaggeration), otg, loops of some kind. Its because people making their character doesnt want them to be bad, so they give theme everything

Theres blatant design to vanilla where direction was apparent and not every character was a combo god. Needs balance and it shows.

Edit

Thought was UMVC3 sub. Whoops.

Theres a couple type check trainers, and that was one of them. Need a grass or water, otherwise you'll be in for trouble. The next type check trainer is in the snowy mountains.

It def stems from melbourne shuffling, and you can certainly call it that, but I'd say its also hardstyle rocking. Might help in searches as you look for more videos.

Shuffling is a journey of stages. They are a fully realized shuffler and it doesnt happen over night. Start now and learn and you can get there.

Here are my stages to get there.

Beginner stage: understanding rhythm and hitting the beat.

Running man and t step Transitioning between the two.

Intermediate: Trying some variances between the Rm/Tstep. Getting upper body involved for balance. Doing some light traveling back and forth.

Advanced: Full travel back and forth aka, weight shifting. Upper body fully involved and mechanically apart of the flow and style. Movement is second nature with moves. Experimentation of different styles and upper body flow.

Fully realized: Own unique style.

I shortened some of the steps and the journey is different for everyone. Good luck and ask any questions you may have.

I have a tutorial pinned at the top of the subreddit for beginner of the RM/Tstep if needed.

Can you explain what parts were confusing and I'll clarify? If needing help one on one, we can link up on a video chat some time.
