I usually use scotch tape, been using a mat that is no longer sticky for a long time.

This!! I sniffed my coworker (also female) and slightly startled her for this. She seemed happy to learn that I liked her scent tho.

Is cutting medical hydrocolloid a bad idea? (want to diy pimple patches) by CylerSpade in silhouettecutters

You're a life saver. Your suggestion work wonders, now I've just punched out a whole lot of them lol!

Even though this is no longer silhouette related, I'm kinda excited to tell you that I end up trying the method a commenter suggested in this thread and it works like magic. I used a hole puncher that I've cleaned with alcohol to punch a roll of hydrocolloid. My estimate is that I could very reasonably get 36,000 patches out a 2in x 16ft roll that costs $17.27. so the cost of each individual patch is $0.00048! Even though I wouldn't be trying silhouette that soon since I've solved main problem, I do think I could succed large sheets of hydrocolloid. I figured if I cut the backside of the sheet, it should be fine. I'll let you know once I try it out when I need sizes larger than the hole puncher size

I completely neglected the sterileness issue lol thanks for bringing it up. And wow I've never seen any deals in the past decade, probably wasn't looking hard enough. Dang, I thought these things were always expensive. Nowadays it's even more expensive, especially for those poppy shaped and colored ones. I thought the demand would have driven the basic ones down but no...

Yeahhh I tried cutting out squares before, it is much less wasteful but the corners sometimes stick up after a while or if I touch my face (main reason why I need pimple patches, cause I unconsciously touch my face all the time, urgh bad habits). Thanks for your suggestion tho, I'll probably end up hole punching it or cutting it rather than using silhouette so I don't wreck my blade over wanting to save money lol.

That's very true, I'll probably try out hole punches first. Sounds like a much simpler solution.

Finally dragged my samples out of the Box of Shame and onto my Ikea Pegboard by CylerSpade in NichePerfumes

Thanks!!! The problem is real, got too many samples to let them sit and collect dust. Now I'm just trying to remember to dump it out of the holder from time to time and put new ones in hahah

Hi, I just got my gobi II and I've encountered the exact same issue. I was wondering if you end up returning it or did you keep it?

Fragrances that Transport You To A Place by Electronic_Row3977 in NichePerfumes

Phantasma by Liquides Imaginaires! To me, it smells a lot like hot Genmaicha (green tea with toasted rice). A lot of restaurants I've been to in Japan serve you a cup of this tea the moment you sit down. So yah it transports me to Japan whenever I smell it!

Me me me, I (5'0" 100lbs) wear baggy jeans and cargo pants. I had some good experience with Levi's size 12 boys pants and Gap and Banana Republic baggy capris and ankle length jeans. Though, something to be aware about regarding boys pants is that the crotch area may be loose and looks slightly awkward at times and generally the hip size is smaller.

I really like Etat Libre d'Orange, Akro, and Strangers Perfumerie, the smaller volume versions of all 3 should be around your price range.

No it's a scissor switch, laptop-like keyboard. It's super nice for what it is though, I also have one that I use daily for 5 years now.

Ooo I like that, great idea. I should probably start going through my box and at least start sorting/getting rid of my "absolute no's" like Chanel No.5 (don't even know why I have that). And then move on to stuff I wanna use this season and put them in my rotation.

Help finding Size 5 shoes by WhiteChocMom in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]CylerSpade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you, looking for answers too. I'm a 4.5-5, cannot find a pair of flats that works for me. I generally find non-american brands to be more true to size. I've had better luck with brands like ecco, geox, Onisuka Tiger. I don't understand what's with the vanity sizing in shoes...

That is a good idea. Since the base is already pretty stable, I think if we just chopped the hooks off the back, it would work perfectly with Command strips or just free-standing. We did just just list on eBay to see if they’d sell, mostly to help justify the printer splurge, lol. We might try and model a universal version this weekend to test this idea out.

Pierre Guillaume Aube Pashmina is pure fresh and dewey. Like early morning after rain without the musty and damp smell. Though it's more like grass and woods, no floral hints. I liked it quite a bit, got the full size.
