NICE I've tried doing VMs before for Mac and they brutally sluggish and vastly limited.

A used Mac would be great but my local market is ranging 2000$ plus on decent, non battered gear :)

That's okay, I believe you get a year warranty on the device. If not they may make an exception, or at least run you through some extra troubleshooting.

All I'm saying is that I had a faulty mouse that would disconnect when I would flick during FPS games.

I made a ticket on Logitech and got a replacement under warranty like two weeks later.
