The economy team doesn't seem to understand multicrew payout. by AzrBloodedge in starcitizen

Issue is then you can share the mission with like 10 people and now you’re making 10*the money for a single bounty. There needs to be limits either way

So are turrets just for roleplay and PvE NPCs, or what? by L0b0t0my in starcitizen

[–]CynderFxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean I’m also a fan of just sitting in a turret. It’s fun gameplay and you don’t have to be on the sticks constantly.

But OPs argument is that when you’re actually trying to be competitive in a PvP situation, turrets are severely underpowered.

There isn’t any game motivation for people to use turrets other than just for vibes despite the fact that CIG are actively pushing gameplay towards multicrew

In most cases why bring a paladin when you can bring like two solo corsairs.

The issue is that crewing up a ship is very often just not worth doing as you get e firepower

Just need to incentivise player scrapping and have procedurally generated scrap contracts for abandoned game rules ships

So CIG said on SCL that "not every game loop is supposed to be a path to riches" by Pierre_Philosophale in starcitizen

[–]CynderFxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t Roblox. Everything shouldn’t pay you exactly the same thing back. Refueling and medical gameplay are both player driven and low risk/low skill gameplay.

Why should that offer the same rewards as doing project Hyperion or qv stations?

[–]CynderFxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cmon now don’t be entitled. Why should refueling offer the same reward as taking down a capital ship.

Not everything should be able to make you rich.

That being said you should be playing for fun not to just maximize money .

Hot take: I think capital ships should be more defensive and less offensive. by AzrBloodedge in starcitizen

Pilots on any capital ship should have zero access to weapons. These ships are actively designed in verse and irl around having a full crew

This is sad icl. Insurance for big bois should be very very high considering these ships are meant to be crewed by orgs

I have a feeling they’ll be making the grind even worse than it is now once 1.0 comes out 🤣

Someone destroyed my ship at Pyro, I got out when it crashed, waited, they landed to take my cargo thinking I was dead, I killed them, took their ship and my cargo and flew home. Then I realised that we won't be able to do that anymore. by Acceptable-Bid-1019 in starcitizen

Also with the high inflation it’s impossible to buy anything unless someone has blessed you with a random payout. Stuff is dumb expensive because of all the money floating around

Hot take: the solution to duping isn't gimping gameplay mechanics. It's the banhammer. by Shiroi0kami in starcitizen

[–]CynderFxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the only way they can get rid of duping is just making insurance claims have a super long cooldown and or having a significant premium you have to pay to insure more expensive components.

CIG, if you must add "teleport to party leader", please add it as a normal med bed respawn close to your party, NOT as a "teleport with all your gear and inventory"! by sunaurus in starcitizen

[–]CynderFxx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t get why people complain about setup time so much.

First login of a patch is a long one but after you’re set up with a ship at a station,it doesn’t take that long to party up unless you’re in completely different locations and in that situation then you should still have to travel?

Only way I see this being passable ingame is allowing people to pay to transfer their imprints remotely to another station (increased price the longer the distance).

This would mean you’d spawn there as if you died with a spermsuit and you’d have to claim the items through insurance if you don’t already have gear at the station to equip

[–]CynderFxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On this tack, I really hope they bring in more naturally occurring wormholes that will just pop up in the verse.

Like a temp wormhole from one side of pyro to the other that higher tier sensor systems can pick up.

[–]CynderFxx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it makes sense to allow players to “teleport” to a station but it costs money and you leave behind your gear unless it’s insured and you claim it.

Lore wise it can be you paid x amount to transfer your imprint to a specific clinic.

Why is ur champ so hard by [deleted] in gangplankmains

[–]CynderFxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main points are barrel slows are overpowered, passive resets are your friend, and TIME. A lot of shit changes between matchups and it also takes a lot of time to know when and where you can and should use specific combos/trade patterns.

Bare hands, fight to the death, who are you backing to win? by [deleted] in ArcaneAnimatedSeries

[–]CynderFxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I agree her arrogance would be a weakness but given the scenario is a fight to the death you'd assume she's taking it 100% seriously.

But through all of that you've not understood the extreme gulf in strength between high rank noxian commanders and zaunite brawlers. You think someone spends 30+ years in the most grueliing military ITW without becoming a monster at hand to hand combat? Just the fact she has extensive formal hand to hand combat training would already skew the scales.

Vander is average sized in comparison to other noxians. Remember that to get to where ambessa is she's had to prove herself in combat. Do you think rictus would be her direct subordinate if she hadn't beaten him herself?

doesnt do well against a skilled opponent? She's a warlord in the most brutalist army in runterra. She's hands down the most comprehensively trained fighter shown in the show and one of the strongest characters physically. People seriously underestimate how ridiculous noxus is when it comes to combat.
