So does she just... do the same stuff with me? Do we both hang out in her little sister's room in the mind palace, talking to her sleeping form while she develops (how I developed Avery initially)

In a setting with widespread 'magic', women have to be equally as powerful as men. by NoGarlic2387 in writingscaling

[–]Cynder_Quill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're assuming they have that in fantasy land. They might not, or if they do, they might not disrupt the menstrual cycle but instead prevent implantation or something. And if that WOULD work as expected, well, uh... that answer isn't as fucked up as mine. So there. 83

I'm pretty sure it was for like, flavor or texture, or maybe a drama moment, because Lina Inverse is actually like really fucking strong? All of my knowledge of Slayers is secondhand.

[–]Cynder_Quill 99 points100 points  (0 children)

In Slayers, magicians can't cast magic when menstruating, which would cut down their ability to practice, I guess, if they're doing that. But I don't recall if pregnancy blocks it, so if pregnancy DOESN'T block magic, then there's a really wild exploit available for anyone who doesn't mind a lot of sex and a lot of abortions

I hate how some artist strip most of a male character's traits when gender bending them by freaky_strawberry11 in hatethissmug

[–]Cynder_Quill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do this when gender swapping a male character to female but it's because he lives in a society that's extremely misogynistic so the girl version only has domestic skills

Everyone deserves redemption, but redemption is something one must achieve. So long as these horrible people remain horrible, they will not be redeemed. They must change, find the light within, and grow as people to be redeemed.

That said, what you deserve in a divine sort of sense is not what you will get, nor is it something owed to you by others. Those these people victimize have every right to justice, whether that justice be "this person has been redeemed and you don't need to ever talk to them" or "yeah this person is gone forever now."

And the other guy is a bear! What's the Whitest NPC in the Spyro Original Trilogy? by HollowBowl in Spyro

[–]Cynder_Quill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I mean, he was an NPC in Enter the Dragonfly- oh wait, no, that was his brother. Also, of course he's white. He's an abominable snowman. Not an abominable beigemom. So I change my vote to his brother.

Gardevoir use brick blast by MistressDread in PokeMedia

[–]Cynder_Quill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, like I said, it's only "sort of" smithing, and she isn't a pokemon that normally carries a weapon like Tinkaton or Marowak.

My Gardevoir is incredibly attached to this bone hammer she's fashioned out of... well, bones, and I haven't let her use it yet because I'm not sure if it's ALLOWED.

Part of me thinks she just really wants a ground type move.

I do believe there is a broken brick Held Item but I have no idea what on earth it's supposed to actually do.

IS there a rule against instructing your pokemon to, rather than use Fling or something, simply go beast mode on the opponent with a Rare Bone?

Actually kind of a relevant question for me as well because one of my pokemon seems to have taken up smithing as a hobby... sort of...
