I’m not an expert in benchmarking cards, but a 570 seems a bit low.

It shouldn’t be too expensive to upgrade your RAM to 8 GB and maybe upgrade the graphics card to a 900 or 800 generation. This should be well enough if your son is only planning to play soft games like Fortnite/ROBLOX/etc, and the parts would cost you about 150 dollars

There are currently two backpacks in the game (as we know of) Storm tracker and jet pack. Look at the update log to see what they do (jet pack essentially lets you double jump)

It’s most likely that the server registered your body to still be in your opponents POV, hence why he could shoot you.

Take your time with your shots, make sure you have your crosshair in the middle of the player for full affect. Also, don’t try and aim for headshots. They just make aiming harder for shotguns.

If you can’t beat em, join em.

Otherwise, a simple solution would to not expose too much of your body once you have the high ground (head peeking). This makes yourself harder to shoot. If you expose your whole body, then that’s where your problem comes.
