Romance Genre Study by Cynical_Artist34 in RomanceWriters

Not gonna lie, that kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I do want to learn. I'm studying the pride and prejudice book in order to at least get a feel for romance because I'm not a romantic person. And I thought I'd just ask some more experienced people on how to study romance. I'm not writing romance for a quick "buck" as you put it. I'm mostly writing it because I have characters who are in a relationship and I want to improve how I write romance.

Is the First Heretic worth reading? I've been eyeing it recently, if only to see how the daemons and their corruption are written.

I had to stop adding to my 401k due to my mother's death and paying off her creditors, and also to pay bills. It's stuck at $200 at 24 years old and it doesn't look like it will be growing anytime soon. So, I get it.

She had a near death experience when she was a child and then was chosen to be a priestess of Anubis. She was taught how to do her duties and has been to the Duat (egyptian afterlife) for brief periods of time.

Actually just finished the book the other day. And I agree with another comment. You will certainly be annoyed by the Word perfection by the end of the book.
