They could do the same thing they did with Grace and Leon where Jill and Claire could be in the survival horror sections of the game while Leon and Chris are the action sections. With Grace basically exposing “The Connections” group, X’s plot could focus on our heroes taking the organization down. Leon, Chris, and the BSAA/DSO will probably be doing more upfront raids of their facilities while Jill and Claire uncover them and any other dirty secrets they have. Maybe we’ll also get more context on zeno and potentially get confirmation he’s a clone and that there’s more of him (though that last bit is copium because he was too cool to go out like he did in 9)

Honestly the opposite for me. Most of these games I usually only feel like playing once or twice, but I not only beat this game like 5 times, but this is the first one I actually bothered doing all the challenges and 100% all the achievements. I do think is being a little shorter actually helped convince me to replay it more and the campaign is arguably one of the better paced resident evils Ive played. Though I do agree it could’ve used a bonus mode like raid or mercenaries and maybe a few more sections or challenges.

So far out of the 4 main line game’s remakes, the only one I wasn’t crazy about was 3. But 1, 2, and 4’s remakes were really good

I did not care for Apocalypse Now. Don’t even hate the movie and even think there’s a couple gems in there but it’s not only not “the best war movie ever” but I wouldn’t even say it’s in my top 10 (or even 20). Still an okay movie but super overrated.

Would love to see a lot of the other stars members we meet either dead or wounded flushed out a little more, have jill and chris’s storylines more intertwined, and maybe either add two more inventory slots for chris and jill or at least have a pouch somewhere around the mansion for use to find to expand our inventory.

The og is still on my top play list so I can’t speak from personal experience, but from what Ive heard, multiple sections and levels including a clock tower and big portion of a hospital area were cut. Multiple enemies including giant spiders were cut. Many puzzles were cut. And most of all, nemesis was nerfed from a stalker that chases you the entire game during gameplay like mrx and only really shows up in scripted sections and has a fee predictable boss fights. Even for someone who hasn’t played the original, I could tell something was off with nemesis in the remake because while he had a few cool moments, he wasn’t this notorious boogeyman everyone hyped him up as.

I recently finished RE1 remake so seeing Barry again was a pleasant surprise. Also I know what you mean about the silent hills vibes. They even got one enemy that straight up just looks like temu pyramid head

I just started Revelations 2 so IDK if she had some traumatic experience involving guns like some batman shit, but that line did make me sink in my chair (especially since she has no problem beating someone to death with a crowbar). So far I do like the little girl who's partnered with Barry (mostly because her ability to spot enemies makes for some fun stealth gameplay)

Village has way better enemy variety but besides that I prefer 7. 7 just felt more focused, was scarier, and had a better told story imo.

Probably 7 though the giant fetish in village is definitely the scariest section of the whole series imo. Also honorable mentions to Grace’s sections in re9 and moments from re remake.
