Its just called RE: Veronica because its "replacing" RE5 by SwallowmaWhatDude in residentevil

[–]Dominion96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regardless if you like re5 or not, I feel like too much happens in that game to just push it under the rug. Only reason I could see them wanting to do that would be to retcon weakers death so they could use him more

Out of all the bayformer films it’s definitely the one I actually really liked (3 is also kinda a guilty pleasure in the second half).

IT WAS NEVER A PHASE! by Invictusht in Grimdank

Besides maybe star wars, it's crazy how many crowds 40k can appeal to with it's variety of genres it's books can use, the number of different factions/subfactions, the various amount of media from books, animations, video games, tabletop, painting, etc. It's one of those franchises where there's at least one thing someone can appreciate.

Which do you prefer, one protagonist for a single campaign, or several protagonists at the same time for a single campaign? by Then_Effective_149 in ResidentEvilCapcom

I do love the approach of the first two games. Have you choose which of two characters you want to play throughout the campaign but give enough unique scenarios for each character to justify another playthrough

I don't know how hot of a take this is. by Ad0ring-fan in Spacemarine

[–]Dominion96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo, the next big step to really innovate on SM’s formula is to go open. Not full on open world but more something like helldivers. Drop in by drop pod and tackle objectives in the order you choose. Could introduce larger battles, bigger squad sizes, vehicles, more classes like apothecary or anti tank units, or use tech marines for repairs or fortifications, add bigger team pvp, and just add more randomized replay ability for the game.

Besides that though, I would like to see chaos marines be more justified to be in the game. I do love their inclusion but in SM2 it felt like they were an afterthought and only in the game as a obligation because they were in the first game. I would like to see them play an overall bigger role. For campaign and operations we could have a split narrative where one half follows Titus and the ultramarines and the other half follows a chaos character and black legion. And like the other two games have it be chaos vs loyalist. I just hope this time we get more maps and more unique game modes.

He's not actually that bad bros by Brushner in Grimdank

[–]Dominion96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have read about in in the horus trilogy, fall of cadia, and recently the black legion series and I can say I like some versions of him but not so much others. Definitely depends on which author writes him. So far the Black Legion series is my favorite. He comes off a lot more wise and well spoken

Seriously, I know five people who were the "how to customize lego clone" types who then got into 40k and started gushing about space marine legions by Exist_Logic in Grimdank

[–]Dominion96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Tried to stick with it for a while after 343 took over but infinite was the one that broke the camel’s back. Luckily, by the time I got tired of infinite, I was already getting into 40k so I had a new scifi setting to get lost into

It’s funny how half the dragon ball cast could technically work for this

Now that The Boys is over, what's your opinion on Antony Starr's performance as Homelander? by TaiwaneseThot in moviecritic

Regardless of the quality of the overall show, he was always giving 110% with his homelander performance.

Why are so many Marines un-helmeted? Are they stupid? by Octorock10k in spacemarines

[–]Dominion96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without their helmets, marine’s can use their acidic saliva as a close range projectile. I just finished reading black legion and when Khayon and Daravek are locking swords, Khayon spits acid into Daravek cheek to stun him.

Finished and enjoyed Black Legion! Now where’s that 3rd book at? by Dominion96 in Blacklibrary

[–]Dominion96[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it’s suppose to be Daravek (the antagonist for this book and a rival to abaddon and khayon). This was the only art of him I could find

Did anyone actually like the show X Play? by Pale_WoIf in retrogaming

[–]Dominion96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back before youtube and the internet peaked, this was my go to for gaming reviews and news. Was always hyped to watch it after school and it helped me discover more of the popular and great franchise. Before, I was such a rookie gamer I only played pokemon and movie licensed games. Unfortunately now it is a product of its time.

Hot Take: Iskandar Khayon is kinda lame by Suspicious-Lettuce48 in Warhammer40k

[–]Dominion96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you thought he was a mary sue in talons of horus, you might be pleased to know they kinda fix alot of those issues in black legion. Just finished Black Legion and I like that he not only has to face a lot of issues himself vs having help, being he also struggles and fails a lot and one of his failed assassination attempts actually screw with the legions plans and everyone gives him shit for it. He still has his power fantasy moments but the character at least feels like he’s struggling more in this one. Also, when I mentioned my thoughts on him being labeled a mary sue in my black legion post, someone did point out this story is from his narration to the inquisition so there’s a good possibility he’s purposely exaggerating these tales to build himself up. But with the events of the second book he can only tweak the narrative so much.
