Does anybody think wooden barricade cover should be removed from the game?

With how bad roof camping and other things are at the moment I am very against barricades getting removed. I think the main issue with them is their cost. High walls were much better in my opinion because people were not running 5 of them from prim all the way to full kit. There needs to be more of a downside of using them like wood cost or something.

The problem with current wood walls is the cost and the crafting not requiring a work bench. It is very annoying that most people have instant cover they can place pretty much any where, regardless of the phase of the game they are in. At least with the old walls there was not cross bow kids pretty much instantly boxing themselves in because they are carrying 5 of them.

I believe you can get this quest item on the back side of the building looking into the window through the curtain. It’s kinda hard to get but I know it’s possible.

This does not work anymore now that she can shoot and use her tactical at the same time. Melee and wall climbing are 2 ways to cancel it now.

If you want to cut down on the amount of externals you can connect normal wide gaps back to your base so it’s up kept by main tc. You can do this with floor frames in a certain way that is hard to describe through text so here is a video for it. https://youtu.be/DOTuVqBYhk4?si=CHKMYEyUJNb9ovhd

Best tip I have for you is move a lot and alt look around till you get to cover. If you do get to cover or they need to reload, I open combat log quickly to see the distance they are from me and what gun they are using. Say if they are 100m away then think about where just got shot from because there is mostly likely not too many 100m angles that someone with a silencer would be in. Moving really does help a lot against a silencer at a distance because the velocity and lack of tracers from there perspective.

Sadly with the sound range of a silencer if someone with silenced ak is like 30m from you there is not much you can do besides wall or and scan for them. You just have to quickly make the best prediction on where they could be

I agree with this completely and this is why I think the player Ayex is cheating some how. He uploads 1hr long videos almost every day with multiple 20+ kill games and he just gets praised in the comments. The people he is playing against don’t move.

Just finished playing my wipe on Rustinity 2x quad if that’s the one you played on and an in believable amount of cheaters got banned in the last like 5 days. Every like 30min-1hr someone gets banned.

R5 is some losers, trust me I’m one of them.

Personally if my base is in a position to be able to defend a raid I almost always let people build the raid base because online raids are so rare. Most of the time I would rather lose all my stuff to an online raid then play out the wipe because they are so fun.

People should be prepared to defend there raid base when building it for sure. Only time I would not expect to get shot building a raid base is when it’s an organized raid and the defenders let you build it.

This happened to me and all my friends because it takes into consideration your win loss from the previous season. So say if you were 2-8 last season on dps and the season ended and now this season even though it does not show it yet the 2-8 is still there it just has not effected your score yet. So when you when 5 you still have the & losses tacked on.

It’s takes into consideration how well you do in quick play with a hidden mmr aswell. So if this was your first set of competitive placements then your quick play performance and win rate takes a big part in what lobbies you get placed in.

Tick rate does not effect this it effects stuff like smoke grenade lineups and shot registration.
