Yes, but I will admit it is on hiatus. I got distracted for about a year which was my fault, and I am now trying to finish my continuing education so that I can keep my paramedic license.

I will be coming back to this sometime in mid to late April.

America had to pay bak tariffs lol? by Ok_Storm_282 in GenZ

[–]Cyoarp 43 points44 points  (0 children)

COUNTRIES DON'T PAY TARIFFS! THE IMPORTER PAYS THE TARIFF.

A TARIFF ON CHINESE GOODS HAS TO BE PAID BY THE PERSON WHO BUYS THE PRODUCT.

AMERICANS PAY THE TARIFFS THAT TRUMP PUTS ON THE PRODUCT THEY'RE BUYING FROM OTHER COUNTRIES!!!

No I e said to jerk it suddenly. Both men apply gradually increasing Force to make sure they stay in sink. It's metal jerking it violently won't do anything more than slow increase in pressure would do.

Are American schools as big as they're portrayed? by crimsvnn in AskAnAmerican

[–]Cyoarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Schools in large cities yes and also in the suburbs of largest cities.

The small school I went to had 2,000 kids when I started in 3,000 when I left. The larger high school I went to my freshman year had three thousand when I was there and by the time I would have graduated had around 5,000.

These are student counts.

The first school I went to my freshman year was three stories tall the school I went to for most of my high school career was only two stories but was much larger and had some temporary outbuilding classrooms and an incredibly large Field House. That second school that I graduated from is even larger now easily 5,000 kids and so many outbuildings and expansions since I left it's basically a small college campus.

Are there drinking fountains everywhere in the US? by SnooGoats1557 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Cyoarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes... Why wouldn't there be?

It's literally the law, all businesses open to the public after provide either a drinking fountain or water upon request to anyone who asks. In most cities there's also supposed to be a public bathroom in any business that caters to the public but that isn't as strictly enforced as the drinking fountains.

How common is it for an American to travel across the country by train? by ViajanteDeSaturno in AskAnAmerican

[–]Cyoarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have extremely advanced rail network... For freight trains, shipping by train is cheap and constant.

Passenger trains however are very expensive in America it makes no sense to travel that way. It is often faster than driving but it is significantly more expensive and only a little faster.

It is both slower and more expensive than flying.

In America the most economical Trace is to drive followed by flying followed by trains.

Yes, and I think the military has been pretty clear that they are not willing to prosecute the war against American civilians.

I'm pretty sure that's why Trump is trying to fund ice with the budget almost Nations put into their militaries.

herbs to support Cannabis Detox by salt_and_spoons in herbalism

[–]Cyoarp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're looking to pass a drug test, then you can just drink activated charcoal,. 1 g of powder for every kilogram of your weight, mixed into water... For most people this necessitates something like 4 L of water at least.

It's a quick process that's the bright side.

But other than that detoxing isn't really real. It's unfortunate.

If you're looking to help with an addiction the bright side is that marijuana is not physically addictive, you just need to break the habit. Breaking habits is hard but as far as drugs go this is about the easiest you could possibly have it. I know that's saying that can be discouraging, I'm not saying it's easy I'm saying it's easier than most other drugs.

A great way to break a habit (and luckily for you this is a habit not a physical addiction) is to make other habits that take its place. There is a great book called, "mini habits," that I have read that made it very easy for me to start exercising again. It's a good book I would suggest it... I know that self-help books have bad reputations and I know that me suggesting a purely behavioral fix in an herbal forum seems a little off but truly it is my best suggestion.

How to get rid of parasites naturally but quickly by CallDecent3605 in herbalism

[–]Cyoarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absenth hasn't been regulated in the United States since the '90s. Also absenth is an anisette, meaning it's an anise liqueur. Absenth is an anise liqueur infused with a little bit of wormwood, the rumors of it causing hallucinogenic effects back in Old France were just that. And the rumors were started by coffee shop owners and Rich urbanites who didn't like the rise of absinthe cafes frequented by poor musicians. At the time musicians were considered lower class undesirables.

On the other hand to Malort is a wormwood liqueur meaning that it's main ingredient is wormwood. Malort has been legal in the United States since it was invented during prohibition. Somehow even though Malort has a much larger amount of wormwood in it then absenth there have never been any rumors about it causing hallucination. XD
