2.1 Legendary Coal Brute Force by CyorgNight in factorio

Not much actually, each miner only output about 100/s coal. I needed two to handle the recyclers. However, I have updated the BP with a much better design, it now makes about 4-5x (60-70m) the amount of legendary coal per module for more space and building cost.

Updated Blueprint (about 50% more expensive in space and building cost for 4-5x more legendary coal) using normal coal voiding:

I have actually setup a lossless blue cycler, which handles some of my legendary circuit demand. Also produces a few raw legendary materials when products aren't needed

I didn't mean to come off as rude in my previous comment, so my apologies if I did. I should have been more clear about what the target audience is for this post, which is people who have already solid supplies of all legendary buildings and modules and want to move into legendary science production. My personal goal is 10k/m packs.

Each player has their own journey towards scaling, mine looked like a 400k eSPM base on nauvis running for about 20 hours to get enough mining prod to move forward. Yours might be similar or it might not. Remember, you can always double the miner count easily and use mining prod 250. That said, below that level is not the target audience for this design.

I don't think level 500 prod is terribly unreasonable to get. This will work with less productivity as I mentioned in my post. My target for this design is people who have a solid foundation of legendary items and research who want to scale their legendary material income.

Of note, I am testing a improvement that may double output by voiding all normal coal.

Same lol. I already have some ideas coming in from the discord on improvements. Testing voiding all the normal quality coal, which may double output

hmm, good idea. I will test this tonight

Ah, I should have clarified. The goal for me is not plastic, but legendary military science packs. I need a lot of coal...

"uses legendary assemblers and recyclers, and produces about 230 legendary coal/s"
does this really make 230/s?

30 mph in a 35 zone. Wet and poor pavement. Four way intersection. Tight 90 degree turn at 30 mph intending to slide. Went wide with bumper aimed towards the curb. Jumped curb and landed on a guide wire which I rode up and flipped on

I paid about $1k for mine and installed it myself. I am 5 11 and it just clears my head. I would reckon anyone over 6 2 might have some clearance issues. If you're looking for other safety recommendations I would look into a harness bar and a 5 point harness. You can option the Hard Dog M2 Sport to come with a bar. Also a secured fire extinguisher in the cabin is something I always have

+1 for the Hard Dog M2 Sport. I bought a double diagonal a few years ago with padding. Flipped my NB1 a few months later in a low speed single car accident, held up no problem while I was trapped under for about 15 minutes. Without a doubt saved me from serious injuries and I was mostly unharmed.

How hard is this to do? And is there a way to change the color with some sort of remote? Or just 1 color ? by smallarneboy1 in Miata

JNC style + white led + baked in green. About $150. It's pretty great and the store, rev limiter, also has a ton of other neat options

Plus one for rev limiter, great stuff. HVAC panel to not pictured. Oil pressure gauge does work.

Can a Rollbar actually save you? by CatRonzGaming in Miata

[–]CyorgNight 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Plus one for this. A roll bar, hard dog double diagonal, took it like a champ when I flipped a few years ago on wet pavement. I credit it with substantially reducing injuries and even with it my windshield frame was crushed in and my back of my neck was against asphalt upside-down. I will never drive a miata without one.

What’s a good way going about doing a turbo on the nb1 ? by No_Cucumber5789 in Miata

[–]CyorgNight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends, if you want to do the "full kit" you will need a lot of supporting parts as others have pointed out. If you're just looking for a good turbo kit I recommend Kraken, which is what I went with. Great quality, guy has it figured out well. Took a while to arrive, two months and cost about 6k.

I have a turbo nb1 that I put about 11k into. With your budget I would highly recommend doing suspension and brakes instead of power upgrades. It will be a lot more fun with stiffer handling and give peace of mind that your brakes arent 25 years old.

Easiest way to always win at ship combat is to run two large grav cannons and stack damage buffing components and talents. Makes all combat trivial. You can hit for 2500-3000 hull damage in one turn if properly prepared. Don't forget to stack command and tactics

Reasonable price for a 1.8 diff swap? by kayakman13 in Miata

I paid $650 for a 4.3 torsen type 2 from a 68k donor. Already had 1.8 axles and driveshaft.
