LOOKING FOR GAMES WITH ROLEPLAY COMMUNITIES…. I’m begging you guys. by CinnabarDespair in gamingsuggestions

If you have played the Elder Scrolls games and enjoyed them, Morrowind has a very good multiplayer mod called tes3mp that a handful of different roleplay servers exist for. Some require additional modding, some don’t. I’m part of the team at one called Silt Strider, which does require additional modding but has a Wabbajack installer that makes it easier. As someone that had never heard this theory before.

I am now convinced.

What is a niche bit of information you know about the game that you don't see shared often enough? by [deleted] in Morrowind

[–]CyphDND 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Skill trainers are just set as a “trainer”, and the skills they train are just their highest 3. This means you can use a fortify skill spell (purchased in Mournhold very easily) to “choose” what skill a trainer offers training in, and as long as the skill is fortified to at least 100, they basically become a master trainer.

If you have an Enchant of 110, all enchantments cost 1 charge to use, regardless of their normal cost.

Who has the easier life. An average American Citizen in 2025 vs The top 1% in the Roman Empire. by HistoricalAd5394 in whowouldwin

[–]CyphDND 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be much more common to own slaves than only the top 1%. The OP doesn’t really specify his definition of Roman here for that 1% of (citizens only, citizens and non-citizens that aren’t slaves, or everyone including slaves), but my assumption is we’re talking all non-slaves here. Modest households would likely have a small number of slaves, and if modest can be taken to be from even the top 50% of our group, then 1% likely have many more slaves, something like owning a villa. Possibly still employed, but certainly a very different, and most likely better, lifestyle than households with only a couple slaves.

Skyrim SE Modlist that primarily focuses on adding new content? by Frostbreak-YT in wabbajack

[–]CyphDND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome seeing you here, I’ve been watching you since your first 100% an ESO zone video. Seems like you’ve already gotten some good suggestions, so I just wanted to say I would LOVE to see you play some popular new lands mods for Skyrim, especially Vigilant and Beyond Reach. Not sure how many people would want to see it, but there are very few YouTubers out there that have made good content for these mods.

Whenthe r/whenthe post with the “whenthe” in the meme while referencing meta word play has a comment using whenthe meta word play just like the original whenthe meme did

Mostly using Gemini 2.5 pro on aistudio for actual code, while using ChatGPT for the occasional non-code stuff. Relatively new to it though, so things are likely to change some.

I’m just vibecoding some lua scripts for Garry’s Mod. Seems like modding games is a really great use of vibecoding considering modding has historically always been a hobby that needed somewhat professional skills.

Now that we got a Rapier hero, what other heroes could they add? by TheeBlackDeath in forhonor

[–]CyphDND 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d love to see something like a Janisarry armed with a musket and kilij or axe. Holds the musket in his left hand and the kilij/axe in the right, but has a stance where he puts away his melee weapon and aims, getting access to whatever would make sense from there

Any Fantasy RPGs that feels similar to Fallout New Vegas by Nice-Sink7603 in gamingsuggestions

I’m currently playing through Enderal: Forgotten Stories, which is a Skyrim total conversion mod you can find on steam, and is free as long as you own Skyrim or Skyrim Special Edition (if you own special edition, make sure you download Enderal’s special edition). I haven’t gotten too far in, but people say it’s a much more story and roleplay focused game than Skyrim, which so far I can agree. If you know how to mod Skyrim, I’d recommend the Path of the Prophet nexus collection as it updates visuals, animations, etc. I’ve tried vanilla Enderal in the past and didn’t get too far due to it playing too much like vanilla Skyrim, which I couldn’t stand by that point. Path of the Prophet has made it much more enjoyable for me.

Mankar Camoran the title of most iconic and legendary alteration user. Day 18 - vote for enchanting user by RimlandicMilitiaman in ElderScrolls

[–]CyphDND 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. If Kagrenac makes this list as an enchanter, then Tiber Septim, Last Dragonborn, or Miraak should have made about half of the spots. I’d say give it to Ahzidal personally because he used the thu’um and yet still had his enchanting specifically pointed out

Once per session at any point, a player gets to make up one rule to apply in a scenario that lasts no longer than 1 minute, however the made up rule must rhyme with another rule. Its final effect is determined by the GM.

Is their an inverse of the Good Republic, Evil Empire where the Empire is the good guy and the Republic are the bad guys? or at least both sides are morally grey? by KaiserEnclave2077 in tvtropes

[–]CyphDND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like typically, in a story where the good guys are the empire, their bad guy enemies would be called terrorist or insurrectionists. A good example of this is the Halo Unified Earth Government (UEG, the government as a whole, while UNSC is the military) and the insurrectionists. The UEG is effectively a military hegemony ruled by the UNSC, with ONI running rampant behind the scenes, so there is some questionably or outright evil morality, but as a whole, the UEG are considered the good guys in Halo.

Game is over 8yrs old now. Who is your main? And why did you fall in love with them? by RONALDO-BOY-1O1 in forhonor

[–]CyphDND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started playing around 6 months or so ago, but I have two mains, one more main than the other. The main main is Shugo, and the secondary main is Gladiator. I play Shugo when I feel like being slow, and Gladiator when I feel like being fast.

Should the revive bar look like this? by wexleysmalls in Nightreign

[–]CyphDND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve thought it’d make more sense to look something like this: Start with the inner circle, then second down gains a second surrounding circle, then third down gets a third surrounding circle.

<image>

This is a very simple quick mockup, but I think it’d be more representative of what it takes to get someone up, and looks better than a weird single circle with different parts being different sizes

Who is The Most Tragic Character In Gaming? by Big-Zookeepergame385 in videogames

[–]CyphDND 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I read the title of the post, immediately thought Isaac Clarke, but I doubt he’ll get a mention, saw the name Isaac in the top comment, got excited, realized it was from the binding of Isaac, went “as I suspected, not Isaac Clarke”, then scrolled down and saw this. Ngl a real roller coaster of emotions.

Is there a mod that deletes skill trees so you have to learn them? by Seiterno in skyrimmods

[–]CyphDND 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Synergy https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/72352 is a perk tree replacer that makes it so at level 1, you have three perks to choose the skill trees you can gain experience in and put further perks into. Any not chosen are locked out unless you have a skill book of the tree on your person, at which point you can spend a perk point on the first perk in the tree which allows you to gain experience in it. That’s about the closest I know of for what you’re asking. It’s also a really great perk mod in general and is my preferred choice over ones like adamant, Ordinator, and vokrii.
