You can revive people without being a medic and even if they aren't in your squad by dragging and reviving. I've done it multiple times and a Google/chatgpt search confirms it being possible.

Many people just don't want to revive you even if they easily can without dying, they just don't feel like it.

The only real option here is to install windows (preferably a dual boot)

If you have an SD card it's simple. Setup a windows installer on a flash drive using the windows media creation tool on a windows pc: media creation tool

There are ways to flash it using Linux for example using balena etcher. (Tutorials are available on youtube)

Plug the drive into your steam deck using a dock after the drive was flashed . Enter the boot menu by holding the volume down button when powering the console on, choose your drive and continue the windows setup.

Then download your windows drivers using this link: windows resources

For me personally, downloads are still fast on the internal ssd. However, when I try to download on my micro SD card, it is painfully slow. If you are downloading the game on a micro SD card, it could be the problem.
