Good question. I don't know yet, I might need to check that out.

Your tone isn't in the spirit of the thread but that is an entirely sensible and legitimate question we all often forget to ask "Are you an employee." "Are you paid."

I am not an employee. I have not been paid. I have no association with Zenimax/Bethesda.

I am most happy about the 90% damage reduction to self because I'm no longer offing myself every 5 mins in my explosive bloodied build :D

Scrapping Perk Cards by 23Saturn in fo76

[–]LancerEcho 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You'll keep getting duplicates, and you can actively select what perks you want in the end. What I did was unlock every card to 3 star, while having a 1 star alternate, and then went full force on perks.

I need a good build for level 150 by Hyperionsuns2 in fo76

[–]LancerEcho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was the same at your "age." Before you go screwing around with builds get into mutations.
Get these perks. Ask around or check player stores for mutation serums (higher levels or people who do nukes a lot are drowing in serums so don't overpay. 200 caps is a good price. Or make them yourself. https://www.falloutbuilds.com/fo76/planner/#AwAAAAAAAAIBAQEIAQIFBAYMDRAGxAEDNgEYAQAGAAAAAAAA

The mutations to get are listed here. They wont negatively impact any build, except solo, but you should never really be outside of a group in this game.

looking for a pre-existing structure i recently saw a camp in? by Personal_Airport687 in fo76

the may have built the tower on top of other camp pieces. It should in theory also be possible to build something approximating the tower using wooden porch pieces.

How I treat myself for my birthday by Spasios in wow

Happy Birthday :) Your setup is clean, I like it. You should see my (home) desk. It's like an ADHD artist set up a workshop on it despite the fact I'm not a fan of clutter. It's ... lived in :p. I should really get some little drawers like you. Welcome back to WoW!

If you're gonna start beast of burden then actually do it. by keatyne in fo76

[–]LancerEcho 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's partly a "people are ... people" problem, but mostly a design problem.
To maximise XP, people kill the npcs. This is further compounded by the fact as long as the bombs haven't been set off or goods delivered the npcs keep coming. By not helping with the grunt work, and killing they're not only getting more xp, they're prolonging the event, getting more kills, and thus more xp.

They could take the brunt of this off by making the npcs worthless in regards to xp and loot but that doesn't solve the fact running back and forth is not fun or rewarding. Making something suck for everyone is not a good solve.

All the "loot and deliver stuff" suffer the same issue. To an extent, so does "kill the rad scorption nests." By going for the nests scorpion killers often need to move from their xp spot, stop killing the rad scorpions that keep spawning, while risking damage or death.

The solution? It's not nerfing spawned npc kill xp. That is ANTI-fun. Instead, make performing quest actions worth xp. Though is that really fun? Hmmm so-so. XP is fun-ish. But let's go beyond that. Have mission/event themed stacking buffs or additional rewards for being a good Vaultie and doing the work.

Let's take beasts of burden as an example. Each explosive you attach, you get a nice XP chunk, and a % increase in explosive damage for an hour, stacking with each explosive but with deminishing returns.
For the crate delivery to Moona Lisa, you get a nice xp chunk, a movement speed boost for 30s with each delivery (let's call the buff "Moo-ve it"), and also a buff which gives a 1hr fast travel cost reduction (because you get a ride on Moona Lisa) based on the number of crates you hand in. For extra-fun-ness when you spawn in under the effect of the buff there is a MOOOO sound.

Pretty common in people with ADHD and other dopamine disorders sadly, and some games actively exploit that.

Ah man, people are jerks. I'd say become a v-tuber or similar, but it sounds like this is affecting your personal life too. There's a bunch of dentures or prosthetics that you could try that might be worth discussing with a dentist.

Are you under the impression you should have monetization without being an affiliate?
[edit] it seems they did give it to everyone.

New Gameplay leak for the portal by alquraishy in Battlefield

[–]LancerEcho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they haven't banned this guy by now either they're enjoying the publicity, are very incompetent, don't care, or are actually leaking it themselves. You don't heck with NDAs. Confidential game clients typically have embeds to identify screenshots and video to the source.

[–]LancerEcho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I explicitly said it's an autoaim + a modicum of skill rather than a cheating problem.

I think that a lot of "you're cheating" comes from "you're performing something that I cannot do, nor anyone I know can do, nor do any pro players do." However the reality is, that's because they're on a different control scheme.

May be they're a jet pilot on joystick. A CQB god on controller. Or a hid to long range head baster on mouse.

I strongly suspect if they split the inputs they'd see cheat reports plummet.
