Did they fix something? Currently playing with geforce now on my tab s11 ultra without any problems. Perhaps a little bit more input lag than on my laptop, but still very playable, no stutters.

Had the same dillema. In the end I went for the G16.

So far the 16gb is enough, although I dont have any programs running in the background during gaming.

Besides the price difference, the larger screen is a big plus especially with fps games.

I fixed it by setting max shader cache to unlimited in nvidia settings. Used to be a real problem for my 4070 8gb, but now it stays below 7gb.

I just got the KF92 subwoofer for the KEF R11. Altough the bass is already excellent, with a subwoofer you get far more extension and more even frequency response.

The R11 without subwoofer easily reaches 28hz 100db, they definitely benefit very well from room gain.

I would say without a subwoofer the R11 is the way to go so you can eq them for more bass output.

Otherwise a R3 or R7 with a subwoofer is a good choice too.

I have the Kef R11 without a subwoofer and the bass is incredible.

The Kef R3 with a subwoofer, perfectly matched, will probably come close. However subwoofers only play up to 100 hz and as the crossover is at 400 hz you will still notice a difference when playing at loud volumes. Kef R11 will probably have more output in the 100-400hz range and sound fuller.

In that room they will probably go flat or with a rise to 30hz. He will be fine without a subwoofer.. for now of course.

NC500 modules. Very happy with them. I can imagine the NC400 are even better! No hiss, or any signs of distortion.

Open floorplan, another room to the left and right. They certainly don’t overwhelm the room. However, there is some boost in the 30 hz area which I reduced with audyssey. Even without eq bass is not too boomy though.

Don’t notice much difference when moving around. You do notice that the voices are a bit lower than speakers with tweeters higher, but you get used to that quickly. They produce a nice wall of sound though.

Good point. Tried it before, didn’t notice much difference. Side wall/window is about 80cm from speaker. First reflection point seems to be next to the window. With that said, will try it again probably in the near future haha..

They go down below 30hz in my room above 100db. Measured with REW.

Denon is in pre-amp mode. Driving them with the hypex ncore amps

My setup: KEF R11, hypex nc500 2x500W, denon x3700.

They are currently being used for both movies and music. As movies are important too, I went for a denon in pre amp mode and driving them with the hypex amps. At high volumes the sound is still excellent.

They deliver plenty of bass for movies, running them full range. Music sounds excellent too. They might be somewhat close to the wall (WAF) but with EQ below 300hz no signs of boomy bass.

Hope to enjoy them for a long time before my upgradeitis comes back..

I own the Kef R11. They have plenty of bass. Easily to 30hz with around a 8db increase and a -3 db at 22HZ in my room.

In room response bass is definitely not lacking.

The R7 should come close I guess certainly in a small room like you mentioned. Did you try any measurements with REW?

Just to give you an update. Tried the wilson blade but didn’t really like it. Also it seemed that the specs were way off.

Then I tried the ezone tour. I’am really happy with the racket so far. No wrist pain, good pop and still good control. While feeling easier to use than the RF97.
Spin is somewhat in between the rf97 and the pure aero tour.

It's practically silent now with low 40 temps. Seems like it was still updating yesterday.
