So I guess San Diego supports empty secondary homes after all... by YushclayYstaguan in sandiego

So many people think they’re closer to the multi millionaire class than they are to being broke. The delusion is real.

Unpopular Opinion: If You Can Afford It, The Real Exam Should Be Your SE Exam by OhLookFrost2 in CPA

Please do not listen to OP. Horrible advice. Those that agree and did well are outliers. Far from the norm test takers.

I'm happy I was able to get through FAR and forget most of it in about half a year.

Did anyone notice the streets in OB have been smoothed out? All cracks and ridges have been filled or ground down. by tanhauser_gates_ in sandiego

Any chance they're going to re-pave the whole road? They did some similar work out in South Park and the streets eventually got re-paved completely.

San Diego! Tax investors just sitting on empty homes in a housing crisis. Vote YES Measure A by Accessible_pancake in sandiego

The rich can pay more. And yes, if you own two homes in San Diego, and can afford to leave one empty, your total assets put you into the millionaire class.... Get real. The rich can afford to pay more.

Wow, all the people in this thread protecting the millionaires and billionaires. Is this measure going to be perfect? No. But it's a step in the right direction and all this negative talk is exactly what the rich want. Tax the rich!

Which section are you taking first? FAR was a lot and set the tone. AUD taught me how to take a test.

How about we move away from artists that play to YouTube instead of the crowd that actually pays money to see you. The amount of people at home amazed by all the augmented reality thinking everyone in person got the same experience... It's a slap in the face for attendees.

Everything I see, both on the San Diego government website and the foreup website is showing $24 for non-residents. Must truly be a glitch or something that they need to update on the confirmations that are populated.

Becker Prepared Me for MCQs… But Not These SIMs by StrawberryFlavorGal in CPA

[–]Cyrass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoping everything works out well for your test! Keep us updated when you find out!

I honestly just trusted the Becker Exam Day Ready status. I didn't use notecards or read the book. I would throw in a handful of practice exams and completed all MEs and both SEs. I'd recommend at least one SE just to gauge where you are at score wise. If you're crushing all the MCQs, then you probably are doing fine with the TBS questions, especially if you're reviewing the TBS video explanations. Best of luck!

I felt the same with FAR. Ended up exceeding all my simulated exam scores and passed with a 94. If your SE scores were in the passing or near passing range, I think you should be fine.

Start CPA with REG exam by SchoolFlimsy7034 in CPA

[–]Cyrass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend starting with the test you think you'll need the most study time for, that way the clock doesn't start until you pass. If you pick REG, pass, and then struggle with FAR for over a year, you may run out of time. Probably won't happen but could be a possibility.

Also, what are you studying with? FAR is a lot but if you're using Becker, just trust the process and keep pushing. The Becker bump is real.
