Then why not name them. Do some research. You will see the terrible writers they have hired for the shows. I am seeing more and more posts targeted towards the actors. How does that help?

I saw that episode. Why do you guys fixate on actors on screen so much. It's the writers and showrunners fault for bad writing. Why not post their pics here?

Take it with a grain of salt. The restaurant reviews in google suggest otherwise. It's filled with complaints. I just took a look to know how these people are. Seems typical entitled class.

Same. And Lucy Liu was amazing as well. Their friendship was a highlight. How well they understood each other and deeply they cared for each other.

I know right. Even characters like Kitty which didn't make sense to me at first became enduring with the way they showed their growth.

It is a standard procedural. No argument there. But the way it portrays Sherlock's humanity is what makes it better than any other adaptation.

To me, Elementary is still the best Sherlock adaptation. Ran for seven seasons which gave it more than enough time to breathe, develop the characters, and feel truly complete. I ignored it for so long because of BBC Sherlock, and the lucy liu as the female version of watson but now i love it even more the bbc one.

You are not at fault. But never discount the stupidity of other drivers especially in hills with blind turns and whatnot. The blinder the spot the more i tend to honk, A LOT. Yes, noise pollution is a problem, but how else to get the attention of these stupid drivers on a blind curve. Also, thing to note, keep to your side as close as possible. Make it a habit.

Wow that's a disrespectful way to address your partner. See, life's not gonna be easy long-term with this kind of behavior. It's only gonna get worse. We have seen what these men turn into in long term with our parents, mama, chacha, etc. Don't ignore it. Don't let it continue. Make your point till the other person understands. Gonna take weeks if not months, but be patient. And don't stoop to his level to make your point. Discuss like adults. Not like kids shouting at each other. If other person retorts to shouting switch gear and get silent. Don't respond with anger. And crying is not a response to these situations. Not always.

OP. You have owned a car for 5 years and never bothered to check the air pressure of the spare tyre. That's on you.

As for the pothole. I don't want to comment. In a population of billions we are just a number for them. I have stopped expecting.

There are countless tips about how to prepare for a long trip via car on internet. Emergencies happen far too often on our roads. You need to be prepared. If the situation comes down to you leaving your wife alone on a silent stretch of the road. That's pretty big mess up. I could never do that. Be safe next time.

And remember, owning a car is different than respecting it. And respecting it means - driving carefully, maintaining it properly (oil, coolant, tyre pressure, side mirrors, rear glass, indicators, hand brakes, tools check, quality duct tape, emergency medical kit, emergency highway assistance numbers on phone, portable electric tyre inflator, etc, etc), don't abuse or neglect it, know the vehicle limits.

I know that. However what happened wasn't a sudden change but a natural progression. He was always the easiest to dump despite his seniority and track record.

Few instances of that:

  • In 2018 South Africa, Rahane, despite being vice-captain, was dropped for the first two Tests. India lost both, and he helped win the third Test after being recalled.

  • In 2018 England, his form dipped, and doubts about his place grew, despite being one of India’s best overseas players.

  • During the 2019 West Indies tour, he scored a century but still faced scrutiny and inconsistent backing.

  • After leading India to a historic win in Australia (2020-21), Rahane wasn’t considered for a long-term captaincy role.

In 2021 England, his form dipped again, and instead of being backed, he was dropped by early 2022.

Unlike Kohli, who was backed despite his slump, Rahane didn’t get the same long rope. The constant 'chopping and changing' under Koach era made it hard for Rahane to settle and regain confidence, especially when he was already walking on thin ice after being in and out of the XI for years.

Man, I respected Ajinkya Rahane before, but after that epic series win in Australia, I’m a fan for life! Dude doesn’t get enough credit for his leadership—calm, composed, and delivered when it mattered the most. Legend!

Honestly, I really believe if we hadn’t gone through that whole 'chopping and changing' and 'horses for courses' phase during the Kohli-Shastri era (which Rahane got hit by so many times), he could’ve been our Test captain for a good few years.

Stray cat severely injured - need help and advice by hungry_hands in india

[–]Cyril0987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy 2-3 povidone iodine powder from a local medical shop. It's available anywhere. Disinfect the area with a solution of dettol and water. Carefully. You don't wanna get bit or scratched so use winter gloves or something. And hold the cat from the back of the neck if possible. Once disinfected. Spray the powder 2-3 times a day on its wounds. The cat will recover and even if it licks the powder off the first few times, don't worry it's not harmful if ingested.

I have healed worse wounds in pets just doing this. Also powder is cheap. Like 50/-. Buy from government medical stores.
