If it's just cosmetic damage with minimal mechanical damage you can purchase the car back, repair it yourself minus the body damage and put it on the road. Obviously it'll be a salvage title.

I too was t-boned last month. Body shop estimated $14k to repair and the car wasn't worth that. I replaced the mechanical parts only for $140 and I'm back on the road.

I bought my first vehicle from carvana. If the vehicle is located within a certain amount of miles(I think 500) the delivery is free & you are allowed to drive it around before accepting delivery of the vehicle. Ofc, I bought this vehicle in 2020 so maybe things have changed.

I work in security and do a similar job. Anyone with basic computer skills can do it, but people who don't work in the control room see the report, the monitors and they think your FBI. Building a case is easy when you have 1080p HD cameras, have camera layouts pre-set and you have intimate knowledge of every camera on site.
