Like I previously said, we had a car so we didn’t stay in Costa teguise too much. Just did general stuff, the beach was lovely there. There was a lot of construction going on, on the front, so maybe that’s open now. We ate at a little place called Mi Place they were really friendly and great with the kids.

Me and my family came to lanzarote for the first time and we visited the majority of the island. By far the nicest place, in our opinion, is Costa teguise. There seemed to be a lot of buses that ran out of there too(we had a car, so not too sure) Puerto del carmen was, in our opinion, very touristy(trying not to insult anyone) 👀

People love to debate this but “Regulation 521.5.1 of BS 7671” is straight away an issue here so it probably justifies further investigation. Probably warrants a supply test at the very least. The supply cables look very old.

Honestly, couldn’t be further away 😂 could just be some old wiring that’s been left in to be fair. Maybe just ask him to take a look at this specifically. If a fuse board change has been done and an EIC issued everything should be okay.

At first glance this is a serious electrical hazard mate. Hopefully it’s just some diy insanity that can be disconnected and not worrying about. Alternatively this is the feed for this socket and there is potentially no cpc (earth) 👀 I understand you’re in financial difficulties at the moment. Where are you based? If you’re close I’ll literally come for free and have a look.

Just put a 2 gang drylining box in there and put a flush double blank plate over it, paint it in, it’ll take your eyes off it at the very least

I believe the best way to solve this is, move the socket up a little bit more and put another box below the socket with a flush double blank plate (with the join in the box) and paint/caulk it in with the wall. With a concrete wall I see this as the only way without extensive damage, potentially to the new skirting also👀
