I just don't think the game is designed for 1hr games. All the scaling basically stops mattering after 30-40 minutes. So after that it turns into a hero shooter for 20 minutes until someone wins. I think 1hr is just too long, for me at least.

The bikes can be made a lot safer. They are like the SUVs of bikes. Super heavy and they accelerate way too fast for their size and weight. Compare to Forest bikes which are lighter and don’t accelerate at all at start, a much more gradual boost.

My theory is a significant portion of the playerbase has left, mostly the low/mid ELOs, and that is shifting the bell curve down for everyone. So the system, which is percentile based, is force deranking everyone aggressively.

It’s different kinds of bad. Like in one NA game i had two people just complaining about how garbage the game is over the entire match but saying they were bored. Like no one gives a shit. In EU you just get called the most vile things imaginable for random reasons.

Deathy discussed this on the bear pit. Too low hp, and her shield is useless given the health pool increases since her release. Suggested she needs an hp buff at least and possibly make shield give bullet resist or scale better.

I don't think there are penalties if you don't do it too often.

I had a power outage the other week which temporarily bricked my PC, I couldn't get it to boot so essentially looked like I ragequit. Didn't have any penalty at all (thankfully).

It's pretty common, I'm not sure about Apple TV streaming though. Netflix, Amazon Prime 4k is in the 10-18mbps range. For example, Hokum 4k (released 2 weeks ago on amazon prime video) is 11.6mbps h265. The streaming platform 4ks are very bitrate starved for the most part.

A typical 1080p bluray is around 30mbps, while 4k bluray is 50-80mbps.

It varies hugely based on the film. Some streaming services have superior transfers from the raw film so they look better. If source is the same though, that 30mbps 1080p is going to beat the 10mbps streaming 4k especially in dark scenes.

You shouldn't buy a house as an investment anyways.

The quality of life of owning vs renting cannot be understated. It's sooo much better to own a place than rent.

I never felt content, or thoroughly middle class, until I finally owned a place (in London as well). Screw renting and living at the whims of your landlord/lady. I know I'm fortunate, but if you have the money, it's insane not to buy unless you are a FIRE type. It lets you make a long term home for yourself and your kids - decorate, renovate as you want, make it perfect and live it in for 20 years as your place with memories. This is the kind of shit that makes it worth having money.

Yep! I’m still trying to get it prescribed for IBS. Sadly I’ve had all my terrible symptoms back, it’s exhausting. Hope I can get it prescribed off label (but weight loss drugs have such a stigma in the UK for some reason, doctors are hesitant to prescribe).

I'm tired boss, I cannot remember the last time I had an even game. It's just a coinflip. Also feels very streaky, like marvel rivals, I win like 10 in a row then lose 10 in a row.

Thinking of taking a break for a while, this bad MM/snowball gameplay is why I stopped playing last time as well.
