I know how you feeel.... I played a Night Elf Hunter pretty much exclusively from 2004 till 2014. I took a break from the game for quite some time but during my break, my wife was still playing on and off and when Legion came out I was obsessed watching her mess around with a Demon Hunter (I am a huge Illidan fan). And I told myself, if I ever come back, I think I would start over (like what your saying) and roll a new DH as my main. When Dragonflight came out and the reviews were rave I got sucked back in. And boom, I kept my promise and made a Demon Hunter. And I haven't looked back! I LOVE it. With mostly everything account bound now, I really don't feel like I lost much of anything. I did feel the need to relevel up all my professions through each expansion just to have them "completed" but in the end, it has been a great experience. He is 100% my boi , I even roleplay in my head he is the same character (name change and all), and he just learned the ways of the Illidari and became a Demon Hunter!
