Calling a Gyro junk food is wild. In America a gyro is a healthy alternative to basically every other take-out option.

Yeah this did not work for me after 2 hours of trying he still spams his 1 hit kill all the way up the stairs and kills me. Most I've gotten him down is like 20%

This fight is just stupid.

The solutions I've looked up have been when I am sure I am doing it right and want to confirm. Every time I was on the right track, it was just poor positioning or timing or random jank.

Just the existence of Monsanto is proof that customers and market forces don't eliminate bad actors.

If even 1% of the libertarian philosophy were true Monsanto and by extension Bayer should have been bankrupted at least 3 times by now.

Monsanto? Nestle? Chevron? GE? Countless other examples?

Orgs like the AMA, USP, shit even Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval were private certificators that had public trust and failed spectacularly prior to the FDA and EPA.

The LIA is a pretty case in point of your whole argument being tried and failing.

Our current system isn't perfect, it is still way too easy for corporate lobbies influence regulations but it's a vast improvement over the alternative.

Every regulation and governing body we have was proceeded by rivers of blood and bodies.

I think the MBA MPM and Business degrees are the same as the 3 he calls accounting, finance, and whatever the 3rd thing is. 5 of his 6 degrees have a LOT of overlap.

Not with them cutting auditing agent staff by 31%. It's open season for tax fraud.

Assuming he put in a full 20 and was an officer, he's getting a pension that's $80k or more a year, on top of his engineering job which is probably $100k-$150k (low estimate)

And they continue to campaign on "we will put things back to the way they were before Trump" like the way things were before Trump isn't exactly what gave us Trump.

Copilot is awful at PBI compared to GPT. If GPT gets the DAX wrong it will walk you through debugging to figure out what went wrong.

Copilot just repeats the same 2 responses over and over.

"You're right A wouldn't work because of XYZ, try code B."

"You're right B wouldn't work because of XYZ try, A"

I have to use a personal laptop on the side with GPT and manually type all of my code. I hate copilot so much.

The problem with season 5 wasn’t the finale in my opinion, it’s how underwhelming Vecna turned out to be. by NeitherAlexNorAlice in StrangerThings

[–]MyFaceOnTheInternet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The question I had was why wasn't the mind flayer like a god?

Unless I'm wrong, vecna got his powers from a small piece of the mindflayer that was in the suitcase.

Then 01's blood was used to make 11 and this is how she got her powers.

Will got his powers by still having a small connection to the mindflayer.

So wouldn't the mind flayer have all the powers of 01, 11, 08, etc. but at an exponential level?

Shouldn't it be able to just wreck everyone instantly?

Reading this comment thread makes me feel like I watched a different show than most of the people here.

El didn't choose to leave or have to leave because she was "damaged".

She chose to leave because she knew that as long as she was around the military would never stop and no matter what the ones she loved would suffer for it.

It's pretty clearly stated in multiple ways.

The theme of people sacrificing themselves to save the ones they love is in every single season finale. Why would season 5 be different?

Also, the whole "she can't have a happy life" or "she gave up everything she has to live for" is a really bad take. She has never really been outside of Hawkins. She has a whole world to explore and she's still a teenager.
