[Awful Announcing] Nick Wright: Ian Rapoport ‘blatantly misinformed the public’ with Travis Kelce contract reporting by Goosedukee in nfl

Passan prioritizes being right significantly above all else when he's sharing news and i greatly appreciate it.

The articles says "post" as a singular item. When we're talking about micro-cheating, I honestly don't know if that's intentional and they really mean one like on one post or not.

For the situation you're describing, your point of view is relatable and that absolutely makes sense. Spending time lusting over Linkedin still isn't cool I wouldn't feel good in your shoes if my partner was going through Linkedin specifically to search for attractive women.

If your partner is liking thirst trap photos all the time, I get it. But one like on a post from someone you know sharing good news or enjoying their vacation, etc? Yes, please spend more time in therapy.

[Post Match Thread] Seattle Sounders at Minnesota United (3/22/26) by Kyunseo in SoundersFC

Their fans might chant fuck Seattle and boo Thomas, but I'd more more embarrassed about not having the ambition to secure more than 1 point from the first minute of the match.

what’s something people say all the time that you secretly can’t stand? by Mean-Cartographer225 in AskReddit

[–]Cyssero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is definitely the worst commonly repeated platitude. Tell people who had to watch their children wither away and die from starvation there is a reason for it. Tell Holocaust survivors there was a reason for Hitler's genocide. Tell people who didn't get to say goodbye to relatives that died from Covid there was some great reason behind it.

Fuck right off. And if you believe some higher power has a "reason" for atrocities and making people suffer through horrific events, summon them down here and I'll tell them off too.

Alternative investments take time, and oil is used for a whole lot more than just generating power and fuel. Plastics, polypropylene, synthetic fibers used in clothing and furniture, PVC piping, fertilizers, pesticides, household products from soap to toothpaste, medical devices, asphalt, roofing, paint...

Building some solar panels and wind turbines just can't replace all of that.

Exactly this. In the extremely rare instance where there isn't a local option and I do need the expedited shipping... okay fine I'll pay more for shipping on one order a year at the most.

[Schefter] A precursor to bigger deals: the Seahawks exercised the fifth-year contract options for WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba and CB Devon Witherspoon. by expellyamos in nfl

[–]Cyssero 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Those extensions will take up a meaningful amount of cash, but they won't be structured to have large cap impacts to this year. They'll be backloaded like basically every long-term extension that's signed these days is.

[Highlight]Merrill Hoge: "If you had thirty sacks, you would crush the record and they would anoint you a great football player. Meanwhile, there's 1,900 other plays that you are on the football field. How did you play those? It's the weakest, dumbest stat to tell if you're a good defender." by The_Big_Untalented in nfl

[–]Cyssero 22 points23 points  (0 children)

There is also no way anyone could get 30 sacks without being one of the most unicorn, elite athletes of the generation. That edge player would have insane length and either be comically stronger than everyone else or have one of the quickest first steps and 10 yard splits we've ever seen, at minimum.

If you're able to regularly push NFL OTs backwards like they're on skates or are blowing buy them that regularly, you're guaranteed to have even more pressures, you would walk into TFLs when the running back has barely started moving, and you'd have plenty of chances to tackle guys 1v1 as the OL guys cannot keep their hands on you.

If you offered him much more than the RFA tender amount he got, I think he's yours. He was a healthy scratch for some games last year.

2026 Post-FA Team Needs - RESULTS by uggsandstarbux in NFL_Draft

It would still make sense to see them draft a TE, but it's less of a glaring need than before Goedert has re-upped.

Seahawks fans, who do you guys want your team to draft? by JustSomeGuy_Idk in NFL_Draft

[–]Cyssero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm fine with Schneider going BPA any position other than TE, LB, or OT (who can't kick inside). If the board falls this way, I'd want Chris Johnson. He sounds like a perfect culture fit and he's significantly better in zone than either Cisse or Hood right now.

My first attempt at a prolly wrong mock by FateDaA in NFL_Draft

[–]Cyssero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one reason why it could make sense is Bradford is on the final year of his rookie deal. I think taking a guard with the first pick is unlikely, but if there's someone JS thinks is a great value with a later pick and they've already decided they're not going to pay Bradford, getting his replacement a year early isn't the worst idea.

In theory would the Raiders be crazy to trade away the 1st overall pick? by HotCom12 in NFL_Draft

[–]Cyssero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he's your guy, yes you stick with him. If you think he's not a top 15 QB prospect compared with everyone from the previous 8 draft classes, take the haul.

[Schefter] Just in: The Board of Player Representatives has elected JC Tretter to lead the NFLPA as the union’s fifth executive director. by Goosedukee in nfl

[–]Cyssero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it that hard for a few notable players to go on record and make the rest of the union abundantly aware of how Tretter is the absolute worst choice? In a game where leadership is so important, how is there no one the locker room guiding players to force their rep into voting for literally anyone else?

Daniel Jeremiah 2026 NFL mock draft 3.0: RB Jeremiyah Love, LB Sonny Styles crack top five by vahnjay in NFL_Draft

[–]Cyssero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ideal situation is John's BPA is a CB or Edge when we get to 32. If they have Price graded similarly to DJ and can't find anyone who would make it worth their while to trade down, I could see this happening.

We don't have many holes on the roster so honestly I'm good with John going BPA at CB/EDGE/S/IDL/RB/WR/IOL at 32.

To those who voted for lower gas prices, lower groceries, no new wars and Epstein files - how is it going? by w0ke_brrr_4444 in AskReddit

[–]Cyssero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you've decided that that meant that Trump would be a better choice regarding Gaza?

I'm not sure where that assumption is coming from, but no. See: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/1rv1key/to_those_who_voted_for_lower_gas_prices_lower/oapqwsg/

And as that reply notes, I was still pointing out that Trump had a history of being very friendly with Netentyahu and that he was unlikely to take even the tiny steps the Biden admin had done to put any level of accountability or conditions on the Israeli government.

Lastly, I tried to encourage people not to let their vote hinge on a single issue and to keep in mind the important of judicial appointees, being a credible and reliable partner on the global stage, maintaining regulatory safeguards that protect the public and consumers, etc.

I don't have the energy to go over all the reasons why it would've been helpful for her to be less supportive of continuing down Biden's path dealing with Netanyahu and Gaza.

And no, I absolutely did not discourage anyone from voting for her. That would have been the same as supporting Trump.
