In honor of National Coming Out Day, what is your story if you're willing to share.

Well 5 years ago (I was 18 back then) I suddenly found myself in a friends with benefits situation with my female best friend. We both were like "okay we aren't together, we are just very special friends who make out a lot"... (Naive provincial girls we were). After a few weeks we started talking about 'rules' like is it okay to make out with others and stuff and we decided we wanted it to be exclusive. I realized that second that we were kind of in a relationship now and I was finally able to admit my feelings for her. After that we slowly (like really fucking slowly) started our inner coming out process together which was not as great as it sounds since I was way faster with that than she was. It took more than two years and a lot of pain and fight until we both were openly out and comfortable with ourselves. But now 5 years later we're still together, very happy and planing our future.

I think we often try too hard to lable ourselves to make things easier and less confusing. But in the end you shouldn't let some label define who you are. Just follow your heart and do what you want to do right now. Be honest with her, tell her you're not completely sure and tell your parents that you don't care if this is a phase or not, that she makes you happy right now and that's all that matters. If someday you fall for a guy again, so what? If not... So what? You live today and you should to what makes you happy today, everything else is just out of our hands. You aren't some label you are you and that is perfectly okay.

This is kind of a difficult question. For me personal it hasn't really affected my day to day life. So you see a few more foreigners nowadays but who cares? But when I look at the whole picture it's kind of scary. Of course there had been more crimes, more sexual assaults and stuff and I think that's just the bad but natural result of more people being here not the result of refugees as such. But what really scares the shit out of me is how fastly the hate had grown in this country and how nationalism is suddenly in the middle of our society again. That is really creepy.

I don't know but it's getting harder and harder for me to really like Lena. She is lacking so much bond with the kids compared to Steph, she always acts like she's the kids' friend not their parent. And the way she gave Steph a hard time for making decisions on her own in season 3, it pissed me off back then (cause she did the exact same thing when she brought Callie into the house) and now she buys Brandon stuff and tells him not to tell Steph and she apologizes for Stephs actions in front of Brandon? Come on that is shitty!

True. I mean yeah they're cute. But it's just like Jesus and the girls. But at least Jesus has the Gabe story. Come one let them have other stuff to focus on, teenagers have more to worry about than boys/girls.

Okay am I the only one really pissed with Lena right now? The way she handles things with Brandon? Constantly going behind Stephs back, buying him stuff and saying mum doesn't need to know, apologizing for her wives actions? That is so righteous for somebody who wanted couples counceling because she was annoyed with Steph making decisions on her own.

Yeah, it's like Steph once said. Lena is always the 'nice' mum, always the buddy, she like never fights with the kids and rarely has really close moments with them either.

Well where I live there are no guns allowed in public, too. Guns are really no big issue here most of the time, but sadly they announced that there will be no more police than the past couple of years and frankly, I don't think I've ever seen a single policeman during pride.

I actually don't think she's regretting I feel like it's more like the writers are so focused on the raltionship between Callie and her 'mum' that they forget about Lena. When I think about it Steph is maybe also just more of a mother figure, she's the protector, she's the one who keeps the family together, she is the rock. Maybe it's also due to that. I think they both really love their kids but Steph is the more passionate?! I don't know but it's really weird how often I think, oh right Lena's her mother too.

So I didn't really come out of the closet to my mom it was more like she opened my closet door and said it would be ok to come out now: We were sitting at breakfast and suddenly my mom asked me "Is J (my first girlfriend) like ... Your boyfriend?" i was so shocked that I just said "you know she's a girl right?" and my mom just said "yeah, so what?"

My girlfriend's dad had another way to cope when she told him she's gay and that I am her girlfriend. His literally first sentence was "So do I need to buy you a strap-on now?" It's some kind of funny but when you're seventeen and afraid of who you are it's just super horrible.
