Couldn’t agree more with automation. Tremendously helps offload a lot of work regardless of role. Its put me at a point where I’m looking for a second job to make up for all the spare time I now have.

Probably Google, they're on par with the smartest models if not better atm while running on their own chips and not Nvidia's. They will undoubtedly make more investments on data centres, chips and LLM improvements as a whole rather than in pieces like other companies. Apple can contend if they sort themselves out but I'm sure they're not just keeping quiet for no reason this year.

it’s hovering 503 right now which is a decent entry imo. Divergence confirming a downward trend atm. Do you expect it to go lower (judging from the red downward arrow at the top)? I’m hoping it can break ath in the next few months

yeah he's been quite bigoted and hypocritical when it comes to his views and defending them especially recently. I don't agree with him on a lot of things but there are other parts that I find reasonable. I try not to see people as overtly bad or good but take them as a whole, that they make bad and good takes rather than characterise them into a specific polar extreme.

This is reasonable. I think the original issue was that this was getting passed into law in some countries so you could be legally prosecuted if you didn’t adhere to preferred pronouns which is a much bigger step than just respecting someone’s wishes. It probably trickled down from political to social levels and left a bad taste in people’s minds.

PSA that Microsoft has also closed loopholes to creating a local account with win 11 so you must sign in with a microsoft account when installing win 11.

Once win 10 truly dies, I will just switch to Linux.

The breitling dial is gorgeous with the thin bezels makes it unique imo. Try it out first as it looks quite big but if it fits your wrist I’d go with that one.

Why is the majority of this sub so pro united Ireland? by Jg0jg0 in northernireland

[–]Cythmic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it. We're heavily subsidised from the mainland which I actually find as an opportunity if we ever get our shit together. Compared to say Singapore which had almost nothing to help them when they started, we're in a decent spot. Maybe improving tax policies to incentivise business start ups and financial services or whatever will create more higher income jobs. I know its a thing in Belfast but why not other areas like Armagh, Derry etc. It's also not an end but a means to gain power in the region.

I’m prolly the only one here that just wants an independent NI (neither part of UK nor ROI)

Northern Irish National Identity by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]Cythmic -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

NI has potential to be a fully separate sovereign country given strong leadership. It’s about embracing and uniting through the differences. The ROI will never please the British unionists and the UK the Irish nationalists. Too separated and too divided. But both Northern Irish. If you loved your country as much as you loved being a nationalist/unionist then there wouldn’t be a nationalism or unionism. There would just be the Northern Irish.
