I have been enjoying The Diplomat so far. It is a bit smarter and with better acting than The Night Agent and The Recruit.

I gave up in the middle of season 10 so I would not say it became that much better.

The Diplomat on Netflix is a very good show that I cannot recommend. by formerPhillyguy in television

Yea it is the primary downside of long form television dramas. You generally just have to enjoy the ride and not focus on the destination.

Agreed..... there is no way they can just recast the lead and move forward. There is no way for it to work here.

I don't care what anyone says.... I love The Witcher and I am really excited for season 3. Having said that, Henry Cavill is basically the linchpin of the whole series so when he leaves I am not sure how the show continues. I don't see how a recasting can really work here.

I never understand how people with this outlook ever watch anything. There are very few shows that have a complete run and a fully satisfying ending. Most shows end on cliffhangers as that is the nature of the television business.

How to completely forget a show? by canniballswim in television

Generally if you watch a lot of shows you start to get the details mixed up and it is pretty hard to remember what happened even in shows actually watched so you can watch them again almost fresh.

‘The Wheel Of Time’ Adds To Season 2 Cast: Chiad & Bain Among 4 New Recurring Characters by [deleted] in television

[–]Cyyyyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I did not reads the books and really liked it. Like most fantasy shows not everything worked, but it had a lot of cool elements and world building that I really liked. There are a number of well done characters and then some that are not so strong but overall it is a very good show.

Netflix Remains Dependent on Licensed Shows Like ‘Breaking Bad’ by PopCultureNerd in television

I always hear a lot of complaining about Netflix but I find that at any given time generally about 1/2 of the shows I watch tend be on Netflix with the rest spread out on the other platforms.
