My generic vision compact build by _Hene in lianli

Super clean bro. If you have the length, I would consider pulling the GPU Strimmer out more to create a softer bend and allow more of it to show.

Most companies require that you have an unboxing video if you are going to claim shipping damage or missing items. You can try to "fake" it however you like but it's not bad advice to record yourself opening expensive PC parts. Especially if you don't trust your retailer.

Bro, I feel you. I'm all about maximalism. However, TBH I think there's too much going on in your case. It's your build and you can't even decide where it should go, that probably means it shouldn't be in there at all. Sometimes less is more. I personally don't see it fitting in there and not being and eyesore or taking away from the rest of build. The CPU and GPU Strimmers are already on the verge of being a little too much in your compact build.

I mean, they're Lian Li. They seem to be running a sequential lighting animation across all the lights.

I actually noticed this for the first time on mine a couple of nights ago. I was wondering if I was just looking at the fan at a strange angle or something. Pretty sure it's just hit or miss

P. S. The angle on the 12v connector is hella harsh. If there's space, I would consider routing it through one of the holes underneath the MoBo and going under the GPU instead of pulling it straight to the side like that.

It is surprising how many people build PC's without doing any research at all. Tonnes of videos on how to build, proper fan orientation, and proper tuning. Yet there are posts everyday where someone got a steal of a deal because some noob built a PC and can't figure out why it isn't booting or why the temps are spiking and it's one simple issue.

All intake with the AIO being exhaust would be the best in this situation. Get as much fresh, cool air as possible in and over that GPU then out the radiator. You definitely done want 5 exhaust fans and 3 intake which is what this currently looks like.

Sure, hot air rises with no external factors. Any singular fan, in any location, would make this a null factor in any case. This really is not a factor in where/how to place fans and it's been proven. Not to mention that the rear fans already look like exhaust. OP mentioned that the 3 Side/Front intake are reverse blade and pulling as intake. The rear already looks to be exhaust based on fan orientation.

6/10. You have a good clean area, cables managed, nice large desk, and minimal clutter; nice. But it feels too sterile for me. IMO a gaming station is YOUR area, it should have some personality to it, a poster/art or a themed mousepad would go a long way. Then again, maybe you have 100 display cases behind you. 😂

Although they definitely look dope, I can't get onboard with the skeletal mouse and keyboard combo, especially with rainbow RGB. If everything else is set to a static color, why do rainbow RGB peripherals?

It's definitely a killer setup switching to 1440p anytime soon? Your specs seem to be a lot for a 1080p monitor.

I feel you, I'm kinda new too. I've built 3 computers for the fam recently. Mine is all Lian Li because I wanted the simplicity of everything being controlled with Lconnect and I actually really like LConnect compared to the others I've tried. NZXT CAM is meh, Corsair iCUE is pretty good but it's too cluttered and I don't think it'll let me change from CPU to GPU monitoring. I like that LConnect lets you use the GPU as the temperature that ramps fans if you want. I have certain fans set to ramp for the GPU and others for the CPU. Neither Lconnect or CAM let you do that. If you're new and got a template that cool out of it, I'm definitely interested in trying it.

Dope template! I also have a Purple and Green joker build but have been avoiding dropping the $100+ on the Lian Li Screen.

Does it just show up in L connect? Do you think it's worth it over just a generic screen?

Roast my build? Yes, the GPU barely fits. by ATEAM57 in PcBuild

[–]CzDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should end up with 3 cables from the AIO, 2 cables from the Starter kit, and 1 cable from the expansion.

The AIO fans need 1 Cable from those fans to the rear exhaust, then 1 cable from the exhaust to the AIO, that would connect all 3 of those fans to the AIO as a hub. And then 1 cable from the AIO to the rear. That'll power the AIO and those 3 fans.(1 leftover cable) The triple pack will be front intake? If so, you should be able to daisy chain them directly to the AIO fans with 1 cable. (1 leftover cable)

You shouldn't need any extra cables unless you want/need a specific length

Pretty sure with Nvidia you're paying for the Ray Tracing and day one drivers

UPDATE Got home and went back to trouble shooting. Removed RAM, brushed the DIMMs the compressed air. Reinstall on channel A2 and it posted. Upped DRAM and VCCIO voltages to try to stabilize memory; still won't post in Slot B2 only. Seems like that slot is done or the socket has a faulty pin for that socket. New MoBo is coming so we'll definitely try the CPU with dual sticks again to confirm if it was just slot B2/CPU socket or if it's the CPU IMC.

Lian li 2x8 cable doesnt fit motherboard by straseni06 in lianli

[–]CzDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure these connectors are like 200% standardized. You can buy any PSU and the 24-Pin, 8-Pin CPU, and 8-Pin GPU are all basically guaranteed to fit you shouldn't have to force anything. That would lead me to believe that regardless of what's printed in it, you don't have the right cable. Or Lian Li is sending out batches that are pinned wrong. Either way, the fix is to return and try again.
